Brain Gang is the result of two worlds colliding. During the summer of 2011, after a business split between two colorful rappers Vincent Brown and Brandon Blue of the Dallas SoreLosers duo and a revamping of an up-and-coming group Fly Times, the popular Dallas rap group Brain Gang was born.
Two former UNT students, Bobby Sessions and Donovan Payne (Killa MC), are part of Blue’s now eight-man squad, along with lyricists Henry Etier (Cash’mir) and JT Mohrle, producers King Blue (Blue’s production alias), X’Zavier Edwards (X’Zavier) and Ishmael Davison (Ish), and long-time DJ, Big J

Jaeson Green aka James N. Williams was born September 14th 1988, in Dallas, Texas, the oldest of his mother's two sons. He grew up in a church based home, with his father being a Pastor, and his mother being a missionary. Even at an early age he knew that music was his passion. He sang in the youth choir in his father's church and participated in numerous talent shows while attending Jimmy Tyler Brashear Elementary School. It wasn't until he was introduced to Hip Hop at the age of 12, that he really became a fanatic. With his father consistently being absent, the likes of Scarface, Jay-Z, and UGK, became his "father figures".
Music became one of his favorite past times: "Jazz, Blues, Gospel, R&B, Hip Hop, etc. He began to write about his views on growing up without an "in home" male role model. Circumstances in is neighborhood affected him as well as the things that his peers were going through. Jaeson stated "I've always looked at music as one of the greatest forms of expression, especially after hearing Scarface's "The Diary". It made me want to tell a story...not just mine, but a true life event that I either saw or experienced".
He recorded his first mixed tape while he was a sophomore in high school entitled "Kinfolk", and it got great reviews. As Jaeson became older, he recognized that he had something special...a gift. That realization gave him the incentive he needed to start his own companies. He owns all rights to 4SELF Entertainment, 110% Management, and God Given Publishing.
Now that Jaeson is 22 years old, he has plans to be a relevant star. With his favorite quote "If God is For Me, Who can be against Me" (Romans 8:31) in his heart, he feels that nothing can stop him. His début EP "The Green House Effect" is set to drop in the third quarter of this year. Jaeson is currently attending Media Tech Institute for Recording Arts. His goal is to write his own music and engineer it as well.
