Landamar is Chicago-based singer/songwriter Adam Hitchell and a rotating lineup of collaborators. An Illinois native, Hitchell moved to Nashville as a young man to pursue a career in music. Having cut his teeth as a performer, he relocated to Chicago and quickly became a mainstay of the local singer/songwriter community, which included artists such as Joe Pug and Crystal Bowersox. After playing in a number of other groups, Hitchell took on his own project in 2009 with the help of producer Chresten Hyde. The group's inspired melodies and lush textures call to mind artists like Wilco, Josh Rouse and Ray Lamontagne even though their conception was more influenced by folk and roots music. In summer of 2012, Landamar released it's debut album entitled "Dry Spell" (originally released as Ten of Swords, the group's original name before changing it the following year). More recently, a collaborative musical duo between Adam and wife Jessica Robbins has taken shape under the name Lonely Companion. The two regularly release online video covers and have started playing shows around Chicago in preparation for a Lonely Companion debut EP.

Midnite On Pearl Beach

A 1981 El Camino rumbles down the side street, speakers busted, but still full of magic and life...Midnite On Pearl Beach emblazoned on the side.

Dark, dreamy, soulful rock-and-roll, spearheaded by Louisiana born, Chicago-resident Justin Jahnke, Midnight On Pearl Beach is Justin's take on psychedelic rock, trippy folk, and poppy rhythm and blues.
