Drunken Immortals

Out of the extreme desert climes of Tempe, Arizona emerges a band whos innovative artistic works and musical messages are based around contributing to and improving community as well as increased individual awareness. A refreshing positive alternative to the bling-bling, cookie cutter, cash money hip-hop that is prominent on the air waves today.

DI is an orchesrated 7-piece groove machine, woven with stinging melodies, unique harmonies, virtuoso turntablism, and solidified
by a multitude of driving rhythms ranging from Afro-Cuban to classic head nodding hip-hop beats. Lead by the rhythm-rhyme poetry and singing of their MC's Brad B and Mic Cause, DI sets a new standard for musicality and instrumentation in a rather bleak world of lifeless, over sampled, commercial hip hop.
With several national tours and national releases in the recent past, including Face the music and the stellar Drunken Poetry 12"
EP, the Immortals have established themselves as a cornerstone of underground hip-hop in the Southwest. With their new release SOUL REVOLUTION they are attempting to spread their sound and message to all corners of the world.
