What are the ethics of eating meat? What is the difference between factory farmed poultry and beef and their grass-fed counterparts? How does keeping kosher differ (or not) from pursuing sustainability?
Rabbi Scott joins with the sustainable farmers of Pearlstone for a special, three day What It Takes exploring the morality, spirituality, and practical how-to's of sustainable meet eating. This course includes a live, demonstration kosher shekhitah (slaughter) of birds with Naf Hanau, found of Grow and Behold – a kosher, sustainable meat source.
