Jon Wayne And The Pain
Midwest reggae rockers Jon Wayne and The Pain have been carving a sizable niche in the reggae-rock genre. Their sophomore release “Follow Through” builds upon the success of the group’s self-titled debut album, once again showcasing their unique mix of reggae, rock, and dub that fans can’t get enough of. Jon, Teeto and Chuckie are the ultimate coast-to-coast road warriors having played an average of 20 shows per month for the last 3 years. Their live shows are a powerful display of the trio’s “Reggae-Tronic Dub”. The band creates a unique psychedelic Reggae sound by blending Reggae-Rock, Roots, Pop, and Ska with evolving bass heavy tangents of electronic dub.

“If your looking for an album that blends Sublime, Long Beach Dub Allstars, and Slightly Stoopid rolled into one then look no further.”
The Danny Bastos Collective was formed in 2013 under the lead and direction of multi-instrumentalist Danny Bastos, assembling the most talented, professional and fun group of individuals who are tried and true players of the young and vibrant Colorado music scene, creating music best described as a “modern Steely Dan with a latin twist”. The DBC consists of a 3-piece horn section featuring Carrie McCune (trumpet), Jon Kenney (trombone) and Sean Culliton (tenor saxophone), Matt McElwain (drums), John Bunting (percussion), Alex Scott (bass), Chris Beck (piano/keyboards), Johnny Bosbyshell (piano/keyboards) and Sean Dandurand (bass). Danny Bastos leads The DBC on electric guitar and lead vocals.
About the record: Local Denver band, The DBC (Danny Bastos Collective), has returned from their winter tour across the Colorado ski towns and through the Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico, where The DBC assembled their audio and video recording equipment to produce a new album and film, “Out of the Blues” The album and film were recorded in one evening, completing nine songs in the span of only seven hours on May 7th, 2015. Each song is a true and honest representation of this originally composed music and The DBC believes in the old/vintage way of recording and experiencing music, which is live and in the moment.
