Jon Wayne And The Pain
Midwest reggae rockers Jon Wayne and The Pain have been carving a sizable niche in the reggae-rock genre. Their sophomore release “Follow Through” builds upon the success of the group’s self-titled debut album, once again showcasing their unique mix of reggae, rock, and dub that fans can’t get enough of. Jon, Teeto and Chuckie are the ultimate coast-to-coast road warriors having played an average of 20 shows per month for the last 3 years. Their live shows are a powerful display of the trio’s “Reggae-Tronic Dub”. The band creates a unique psychedelic Reggae sound by blending Reggae-Rock, Roots, Pop, and Ska with evolving bass heavy tangents of electronic dub.

"The DBC", (The Danny Bastos Collective), is a 7-piece world/soul/funk/r&b/rock/jazz melting pot of extraordinary talent and high energy, good times and overall positivity! Consisting of Danny Bastos on lead vocals/lead guitar, John Bunting on vocals/percussion, Zack Markle on piano/keyboards, Alex Scott on bass guitar, Jon Kenney on Trombone, Joe Lilly on tenor/alto/bari saxophone and Matt McElwain on drums/vocals, are a powerhouse of musicians that are never afraid to explore, improvise and perform the kind of music that will keep you moving and asking for more!
"The DBC" began in Denver 2 years ago after recording an independent album called "Living the Dream" in February 2012. Danny Bastos moved to Denver from Boston, Massachusetts with the hopes of crafting his musical abilities and songwriting craft in one of the most beautiful and joyous cities in the country!
Danny Bastos' entire family originates from the musically and culturally vibrant country of Brazil and was the first in his family born in the United States. Danny's music is a celebration of cultures with non-stop multi-layered rhythms with harmonies and melodies that captivate and unite American Rock and Funk with the Soul and flavor of Brazil, Africa and Latin America!
"The DBC" is performing music straight from the heart and soul and is beginning to captivate audiences around Colorado and is making steps into cementing themselves as a premier act representing Colorado and beyond!
The band formed in the spring of 2011 when Jordan pitched the idea to Taylor. The idea was to create a movement through music to spread positivity and consciousness while representing the exquisite state of Colorado. Since then the lineup has expanded to include Danny on bass, Pancho on guitar, and Drew on drums. All of the members have been involved in the Denver music scene for at least 8 years now. Collectively the crew has been involved in dozens of recordings and hundreds of shows. Ranging from metal to jazz, and from reggae to funk. Now these guys are putting their experience and energy into their live show. Stay tuned in the next few weeks for the release of their first recordings, videos, and unusual merchandise lineup. If you get a chance to see their set, it will be an unforgettable mix of energy, passion and love. They bring a funky, aggressive reggae sound that will make you dance your ass off. Their show will take your head off your shoulders and put it on the top of a Colorado mountain peak."
