The Hardcore Jollies
.....a junkman's convention, a diamond heist, identical switched suitcases, a chase scene.....this is the story of The Hardcore Jollies. Not only are we a rock band and a lifestyle, we are an enigmatic puzzle never to be solved. We are journeymen on our way to a civilization beyond the discotheques and psychedelics of America. We are the Hardcore Jollies.
Eulogy Club is the new project from Colin Fitzgerald, former lead singer of the Barrens. 2014 will see the release of Eulogy Club's debut album
Debbie Chou (pronounced "Cho") studied classical piano at the age of four. Growing up in Taipei, Taiwan, she developed a love for choir, jazz vocals, and theater. She spent summers under the direction of vocals coaches Dena DeRose and Marni Nixon in the U.S.
She moved to New York City in 2004, where collaborated with singer-songwriter John Carpenter. She became friends with members of The Barrens and joined their band as a keyboardist and vocalist in 2008. It wasn't until then when she started writing original songs with lyrics. They released their EP "Worming" in 2008 and a full-length album "The Barrens" in 2011.
Her solo album Lovebug was produced by Jonathan Jetter at Right Angle Recording. It was released on April 23, 2012 and is available for digital download at www.DebbieChou.bandcamp.com
She was born in Pittsburgh, PA and now lives in Astoria, NY.
