Jet Black Comedy
Jet Black Comedy is a Rock N' Roll band. They play their own original music along with various Classic Rock, Blues, Soul, Alternative covers.
Jet Black Comedy was founded in 2006, built upon the solid foundation of Dan and Henry Scherrer. Two brothers dedicated to the transformative power of music and bringing back a warm vintage rock sound in a time that is dominated by cold electronic sounds.
Their creative compositions are driven by the powerful vocals of Henry Scherrer and the exciting melodies of Dan Scherrer’s lead guitar. With Henry performing double duty on bass and Dan performing double duty on drums, Jet Black Comedy released their first EP, Changing of the Guard in June of 2010. This six song release clearly demonstrated Jet Black Comedy’s warm vintage rock sound as well as Dan and Henry’s creative talents.
At that same time, Bob Redman (Bass) and Matt Winkelman (Drums and Percussion) were added to the lineup of Jet Black Comedy. With the addition of Bob and Matt came a new dynamic to the band, which resulted in a fuller/richer sound. Dan and Henry Scherrer continue to be the driving force behind Jet Black Comedy and are supported by the thundering rhythms of Matt Winkelman and booming basslines of Bob Redman. Jet Black Comedy is currently preparing to enter the studio and begin their follow up to Changing of the Guard.
100% All Natural Juice. No artificial sweeteners or preservatives.
Former comrades in musical battle, Phil and Nick, decided to join forces once more to show the world a higher amount of musical freedom and expression. Phil then recruited an old friend Justin to play bass, and then The Juice happened. With only 3 weeks to work with until their first show, The Juice buckled down and cranked out new, original material. The product was a melding of Phil's lyrics and guitar melodies and solos which he says play through his head spontaneously, with Justin's groovy, funky, slapping bass lines, and Nick's loud, in-your-face drumming style. With no restraints on their genre of music, The Juice offers up simplistic driving rock n' roll one minute, and then busts out with some more ornate, oldschool type heavy metal, and then turns around and shoots you in the face with some funk. Dig it.
