Blazing Hot Thursdays at The Queen with Brixton Saint

Brixton Saint's updated take on reggae music tells the stories of the working class, turning a spotlight on the issues of life, love, politics, crime, war and the over-commercialization of modern society. Driven by empowering original songs, powerful live performances and a strong fan base, Brixton Saint follows in the footsteps of revolutionary artists like Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, Yellowman, Culture and The Clash.

Brixton Saint's music has been featured on regional and college radio stations in the greater Philadelphia area and internationally on a number of internet radio stations (Jango, Rukus Radio).
In 2010, Brixton Saint was a finalist for "Best Album" by a Philadelphia/Wilmington area artist on WSTW and a finalist in Out and About Magazine's "Musik Armageddon".

The latest release, "E Pluribus Unum", was released in April 2011. The full-length debut album, "The Cure for the Babylon Brain", was released internationally on Green Eyed Lion Records in February, 2010. Pick albums are available on iTunes.

Suburban Sensi

Suburban Sensi formed in 2008 and quickly jumped into the local music scene mostly doing Reggae and classic rock covers as well as original songs. The band has kept evolving and has now a large arsenal of original material and covers and have played all over the Tri-State area. What was once just a group of young Dudes hanging around and jamming in a basement has evolved into a musical mission: a desire to spread good vibes and good tunes throughout, to all those Tuned In, Connected, Vibe-Friendly people around the World.

Richard Raw

Lyrical wordsmith and music phenom Richard Raw is taking the industry by storm with his unique blend of soul, spoken word, funk and hip-hop. Born on the cusp of the of the 1980s hip-hop boom, Raw is influenced by hip-hop greats Public Enemy, KRS-1, Rakim and Nas as well as soul artists Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. Richard Raw has years of experience in the music industry which includes songwriting, music composition and nationwide performances. He has created a vast collection of hip-hop and neo-soul music, finding his own unique sound in the combination of soul and thought-provoking lyrical hip-hop. After releasing numerous mixtapes and working on a range of other music projects, Richard Raw released his 2011 debut album entitled The Renaissance. Once he completed The Renaissance, Raw immediately began working on his follow up project, Soul Sessions.

Fiyah B

A blend of conscious vibes, politically infused lyrics, and love chants best describe the style of Bajan new comer Fiyah Ball. like nature like name Fiyah B, Born Andre Austin is a rebel in his own right. Brand new to the reggae scene, Determined to provoke emotion and stimulate a movement backed with a spiritual message made it easy for listeners to catch a vibe. This natural chemistry is what turned a shy Andre into “Fiyah B”.

Instilled with a passion from a youth Fiyah B has now evolved into a passionate artist. With musical influences from Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Sizzla, Anthony B, Cocoa Tea ( just to name a few) helped him structure his outlook on life. His first song “My Girl” became an instant hit among friends and family then eventually drew attention from local selectors. After collaborating with Guyanese artist Lady Precious and few others, Fiyah B was truly ready to test the waters. Impressing the crowd while opening for Buju Banton in Philadelphia open doors for other performances such as Delaware’s Bob Marley Festival and other various events in the tri-state area.
