James Hesky

Winner of 2012 Philly's Phunniest. Host at Helium Comedy Club.
James Hesky is a Philadelphia-based comedian and host of “The Monthly Hour” at the Philadelphia Improv Theater. He has opened for John Oliver (“The Daily Show”), World Champion Judah Friedlander (“30 Rock”), Chris Hardwick (“Nerdist”), and Chip Chantry. Aside from stand-up, James also co-hosts CheaPodcast, voted “Best Podcast” in the 2012 WitOut Philadelphia Comedy Awards, which is available on iTunes (or at http://cheapodcast.podbean.com).

Darryl Charles

Darryl Charles grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came to Philadelphia to study at Temple University. It wasn't until he had a day job that he realized standing in front of strangers was what he should have been doing all along.

Darryl first started doing stand-up comedy in 2008 and took improv comedy classes as a way to feel more comfortable on stage. His interest in improv led him to join Rookie Card in 2010.

If Darryl wanted to brag, he'd say you can catch him all over Philly doing comedy of some sort. He'd tell you he's a regular host at Helium Comedy Club, a member of ComedySportz Philly, Bird Text, HateSpeech Committee and a writer for The Monthly Hour with James Hesky at PHIT. Thankfully he's not one to brag, so he wouldn't. He would just casually mention that he co-produces and co-hosts a weekly news and comedy podcast called CheaPodcast.
