Mike Pinto has crafted an exceptional style of songwriting, with a truly unique take on Roots, Vintage Rock, Reggae, Ska and Classic Surf, but it's his distinct voice and seamless storytelling that has brought him success both in the States and overseas. With the release of his debut album (Little District, 2005), Pinto began his attack on the Philadelphia music scene as a solo artist. By 2006, underground success and a rabid growing fanbase allowed him to expand westward with two nationwide solo acoustic tours. After the second tour, Pinto decided to relocate to San Diego where he immersed himself in the thriving Southern California music scene and quickly gained a name. The infectious sound garnered so much attention that Insomnia Radio added his single "One More Time" amidst a hard hitting compilation of the SoCal sound's brightest groups including DI and Slightly Stoopid, with the members of which Pinto often uses as his supporting band.

Pinto's music quickly traveled out of the continental States and can be found on Japanese compilations, on Hawaii's top radio stations by huge supporter and top radio personality Shaggy Jenkins as well as topping charts in Guam. As in Pinto fashion, the hype was followed up with tours where he sold out shows in Guam, Big Island, Maui and Oahu, creating even more buzz in the wakes.

In late 2007 Pinto teamed up with professional skateboarder and legendary Drummer/Producer Chuck Treece (Pearl Jam, G Love, Bad Brains, McRad) and released his most complete work to date. With Treece lending his knack for producing and playing a number of the instruments on the album, Pinto's self-titled album has sold tens of thousands of copies worldwide. The album gained so much attention that Pinto was urged to follow it up with an entirely acoustic version of which was released in 2008.

With a focus on creating community and delivering a live show reminiscent of Vintage Rock and Roll, there is no denying the impact Mike Pinto will have in 2010.

Natural Vibrations (Natty Vibes)

Natural Vibrations (sometimes affectionately called "Natty Vibes"), is the Pacific's premiere reggae band. And they just released their long-awaited and highly anticipated 6th full-length album, titled Got This Music. The project, their first full-length release in five years, is produced by Imua Garza and Brett Ortone, the same production team responsible for blockbuster hit titles by Rebel Souljahz and Kolohe Kai.

A veteran of the Pacific reggae scene for over 15 years, Natural Vibrations has been repeatedly praised by critics for their straight- ahead, no-holds-barred pop/rock/reggae musical style and their dynamic and energetic live concert performances. With its winning combination of the classic Natural Vibrations sound and an edgy, modern production style, Got This Music solidifies Natural Vibrations place at the top of the reggae ladder.

Being Hawaii's top party and dance band, it is only appropriate that the new Natty Vibes album lead off with the hot track "Party & Dance", a hard-driving song about the joys of just letting go in the clubs after a long week of working, complete with blistering lead guitar solos throughout. It is followed by the title track, "Got This Music", a catchy reggae song sung by bass player Jehua Evans with its message of the positive healing power of music.

Lead singer Peni Pua'auli's daughter, Quela Pua'auli–Puahi, is featured on a duet with her father on the song "Don't Worry", a solid mainstream reggae song in the classic Natural Vibrations vein, that is already garnering significant airplay on many top island music stations.

Guitarist Wayne Enos' song compositions include the longing "Anxiously Waiting", a medium-tempo track about anticipating a pleasurable relationship; and the tracks "Can't Stop", and "The Vibes", both featuring guest 2Boi on the mic.

Papa T from B.E.T. is featured on two of Peni's tracks, the upbeat "Are You Ready?" and the pro-ganja dancehall track "Sensi Nation".

One of the song highlights of the Got This Music album is "Sound So Easy" featuring a blazing sax solo from Simplisity's Andy Sexton, one of Natural Vibrations early influences.

A Reggae feel, an Island Rock vibe, Funk and R&B... mix them together and you get Heritage. A bunch of guys just doing what they love - making music and having fun! When their cultural backgrounds and individual flavors fuse together, it just flows... creating a significant sound that can only be known as HERITAGE.
