The singer, songwriter, and musician from North Carolina has released back-to-back No. 1 albums, the 4x-platinum DAUGHTRY (which became the fastest-selling rock debut in Soundscan history) and 2009's platinum Leave This Town. DAUGHTRY has scored four No. 1 Top 40 hits ("It's Not Over, "Home," "Feels Like Tonight," and "No Surprise"), earned four Grammy Award nominations (including "Best Rock Album" for DAUGHTRY), won four American Music Awards, and brought its electrifying live show to all corners of the world, including sold-out arenas in South Africa, Singapore, and The Philippines.
3 Doors Down
If rock ‘n’ roll had fairy tales, the 3 Doors Down story would be one of the most popular. Their story begins in childhood, it celebrates friendship, honesty and making the most of God-given talents. It’s about faith in your teammates and collaboration, trusting instincts and, once success is achieved, lending a hand to help others.
They made their mark early, selling 6 million copies of their debut album, and rather than allow that moment to define themselves, they have developed as musicians, songwriters and friends. The stories and emotions related in their songs resonate with audiences: Their music and lyrics are as approachable as the guys in the band. Five albums later, the band has amassed an entire album’s worth of hits, showcased along with three new songs on “3 Doors Down – The Greatest Hits,” out now.
When Billboard printed its Top 100 Pop Songs, 1992-2012, the band was represented twice in the top 25. “Here Without You” was No. 8 and “Kryptonite” was No. 25 on a list based on Top 40 radio airplay.
After scoring two top 10 singles ("I Get Off" and "It's Not You") from their self-titled debut and touring steadily for two years with acts as diverse as Shinedown, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Megadeth, Papa Roach, Godsmack and countless others, Pennsylvania quartet Halestorm are back with their second full-length, The Strange Case of…. Musically diverse and emotionally revealing, the album resonates with a newfound poignancy that takes Halestorm to a new level of creative achievement.
