An Evening with Billie Jean King, Holly Hunter & Chris Evert to Benefit Assistance in Healthcare

Philadelphia Freedoms

Co-founded by Billie Jean King, Mylan World TeamTennis is America's only professional co-ed team sport. After Wimbledon, Mylan WTT takes center stage in professional tennis. Tennis fans have the opportunity to watch world-class men and women professionals on the same team playing singles, doubles and mixed doubles in an exciting and unique format.

The players themselves enjoy the camaraderie of team play. They like the hometown support and the drama of every game counting as one point toward the overall score and outcome. Simply put, it's fun!

Each team is comprised of four players (two men and two women). The unique playing format consists of five sets -- one set each of men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles. The team that wins the most overall games is the winner. Go to the glossary to better understand the format. There are 9 professional WTT teams.
