He is the father of a 16-year-old son and a known abuser of acoustic guitars.

Bob Sima (pronounced sEYE-ma) is to music what Wayne Dyer, Don Miguel Ruiz, and Eckhart Tolle are to books and Rumi, Hafiz, and David Whyte are to poetry. He has been called “Eckhart Tolle with a guitar”. He is a “Transformational Troubadour”, a way-shower, a guide, an awakener, and a musical mystic. Through the medium of melody and message, he leads listeners to an expanded consciousness, deeper sense of connection, and inner peace and purpose. His music bridges daily life and soul consciousness, the eternal with the now. He delivers instantly accessible songs that take up residence and resonance in your soul.

Sima is a dynamic singer-songwriter, performer, storyteller, speaker, servant of humanity, workshop and retreat leader, meditation and breathwork facilitator, and creative collaborator — often weaving all of these elements into a single performance. His soul-stirring performances straddle the worlds of folk, kirtan, soul, and gospel as he navigates audiences deeply on a journey, both individually and as a collective. Flowing with the unique energy at each event and rarely making a set-list, he is a master at going from foot-stomp to pin-drop. He guides audiences into a space for things – epiphanies, light bulbs coming on, shifts – to happen. His performances invite a visceral embodiment of the music and message in a wide-open space of possibilities.

“Bob’s songs sound like they could have been bursting out of back porch radios for the past 40 years. But they don’t make you nostalgic so much as they make you look forward to what Sima will do next.” ~Acoustic Guitar Magazine
