Pittsburgh Slim

No one can deny the infectious blend of electric, rock, grunge, punk, soul, and comedy that Slimmie Hendrix, better known as Pittsburgh Slim, brings to the rap game.

Forever spitting the narrative to his everyday life from NYC to Los Angeles, he chronicles his experiences since he first decided to pursue his dream, living and basking in the Hollywood Nightlife, fighting off those pesky demons that lurk in night clubs (sex, drugs, and alcohol)... and losing the fight.

He’s rocked coliseums on the same bill as some of the biggest names in music including 50 Cent, Ludacris, The Clipse, T. Mills, Jurassic 5, The Roots, and Boys Like Girls. The musical sets that he’s done with artists such as Camp Lo, Dirt Nasty, Schwayze, and Riff Raff have become legendary.

In 2007 his smash hit “Girls Kiss Girls” reached the top 25 on the Billboard charts and the video has more than 15 million combined views on YouTube. His infectious mixtape, “Downtown Wednesday Night”, made enough of an impression that Jay-Z himself signed Slim to a 5 album deal on Def Jam Recordings.

Jay left Def Jam in 2008, but Slimmie has kept it moving with his own label Four Twelve Records. With the well documented global success of his fellow Taylor Allderdice High alumni, Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller, Slim has reclaimed his place atop the Pittsburgh Hip Hop community with his last mix tape, “Pittsburgh Slim’s Excellent Adventure”, produced by Miller/Wiz producers ID Labs.  The Videos for “Skinny Bitches Have More Fun” and “Sex Tape” are jammed full of eye candy for the fellas and have become instantly viral on YouTube and the “Lifestyles of The Broke and Fabulous” track has become the new Steel City anthem and can be heard blasting out of car windows on Pittsburgh’s South Side every night of the week.

His latest mix tape "And The Beat Goes On..." is quickly becoming an instant classic, with production by Roscoe Wiki, Nesia Beatz, DJ Adam 12, and Ski Beatz, as well as features from Beedie and Dirt Nasty

Brian Todd Collins (born April 1, 1986 in Los Angeles, California), also known by his stage name Kid Ink and previously Rockstar, is an American rapper, producer and songwriter from Los Angeles.

Kid Ink gained popularity while producing music for other artists. After releasing his first mixtape, "World Tour", he created Crash Landing, a mixtape after changing his artist name to Kid Ink. He then released the mixtape Daydreamer which was available for download and another mixtape named Wheels Up that featured artists like Sean Kingston. In 2012 he was a featured artist in the 2012 XXL Freshman class.

Kid Ink released his first independent album, Up & Away on June 12, 2012 to moderate success. The album was produced by Ned Cameron and Jahlil Beats among others. It peaked at #20 on the Billboard 200 in its first week. The album's first single, "Time of Your Life" preceeded the albums release in early 2012 followed by the album's second single, "Lost in the Sauce". On November 21, 2012 Kid Ink released his fifth mixtape, "Rocketshipshawty".
