VANDAVEER is the song-singing, record-making, globetrotting project penned and put forth by folk-pop tunesmith Mark Charles Heidinger. Born in cloudy Ohio, raised in Kentucky, and currently camped out in the nation’s capital, Vandaveer offers up melodic Americana that is both haunting and easy, forlorn and welcoming, with stories as universal as the songs they inhabit. Vandaveer shapeshifts from stage to studio and back with a host of revolving characters, most prominent among them Rose Guerin, offering up the loveliest harmonies heard this side of Eden.

The Mike Roy Show

Mike Roy recorded his first record, simply titled "Roy" as a senior in college in 2002. He followed it up the next year with "Songs from the Valley." While on tour with J. Roddy Walston and the Business in 2004, he met his soon-to-be wife at a show in Raleigh, NC. The next six years happened quick, moving to Raleigh, getting married, having three kids. He formed a band called The Whistlestop with Rob Watson, which ran from 2006 to 2010. He started working on solo material again and in 2010 released "ShotFriction" followed quickly by his latest album "Mike & Eileen Chapter 1" in 2011. He has found great players in the triangle to help bring his compositions to life on stage. The Mike Roy Show brings a powerful mix of heart-on-your-sleeve songwriting and rich, rootsy arrangements with real rock spirit.
