Charli XCX

If you don't know Charli XCX yet, give it five minutes. The teenage prodigy's about to explode into 2012. Armed with a rampant imagination, a plethora of dark, emotive pop songs, and backed by a growing army of top producers and worldwide fans, Charli is not like your run-of-the-mill musician.

Earlier this summer she released 'Stay Away.' Co-written and produced by Ariel (Glasser, Major Lazer, Rolo Tomassi and frequent Diplo collaborator), it is a massive anthem that combines all the majestic bluster of the '80s with distinct post-millennial production. Guardian Guide made it pick of the week and it made the prestigious Pitchfork Best New Music playlist. This is only the tip of the forthcoming album's iceberg, as Charli proves with new single 'Nuclear Seasons' (set for release at the end of November). Charli comments, "Nuclear seasons is about a sense of decay. Whether it be the decaying of love, the decaying of life or the decaying of a period of time. Its about being lost and frozen and surviving. Its about being on your own and feeling magic and alive when you come through the other side."

All of this only at the age of 19, expect big things from this Goth-pop starlet.

Little Daylight

Over the past three months, the three close friends known as Little Daylight have been taking some of 2012's best songs and molding them into something completely different. Little Daylight has created official remixes for Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Temper Trap, St. Lucia, The Freelance Whales, Niki and the Dove, and now Passion Pit.

The rest of 2012 will find Little Daylight beginning work on their own songs, with a planned unveiling in January -- we know you will not be disappointed.
