With vocal texture laced with passion & soul reminiscent to the iconic voice of the legendary "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin. Y'Anna possesses the ability captivate the hearts of audiences of diverse cultures, as well as lovers of music across multiple genres.
An artist & active advocate Y'Anna is the founder of her own non-profit organization "The Promise Foundation". This mechanism was designed to provide, health, wellness, physical fitness, self esteem building, social services, as well as scholarships to single mothers in both the African American & Latino Communities.
In additional to founding her own non-profit organization. Y'Anna has recently joined the long list of "A" list artist (KeKe Wyatt, Monica, NAS, & NeNe Leakes) & partnered with Atlanta based national non-profit "Saving Our Daughters" as their first ever gospel artist ambassador as apart of their "YELL Confidence" initiative.. This initiative is a deliberate attempt to disarm the casualties as a result of identity crisis, and low self esteem common amongst the teenage demographic nationally.
Y'Anna's skill sets are now broadening her reach into the mainstream market place not just as a singer, but also as polific song writer. Industry veteran Angie Stone recently solicited her support on her sixth solo release. Y'Anna is responsible for penning the title cut "Rich Girl" as well as its lead single "Do What You Gotta Do" which is currently #10 on Bill Board Adult Contemporary Charts. Crawley also aided Stone as a co-writer for the new infectious sister theme song on the same effort appropriately titled "Sisters"(featuring Stone, along with R&B sensation Tweet & Y'Anna)
