Bob Log III
Bob Log III is a One Man Band Slide Guitar Party.
Bob Log III is an American, Slide Guitar, One Man Band. During performances, he plays old Silvertone Archtop guitars, wears a full body cannonball man suit, and a helmet wired to a telephone which allows him to devote his hands and feet to guitar and drums. The spectacle has been described as a guitar dance party, full of sweaty smiles, jumps and kicks. Touring over 150 shows a year in more than 30 countries, Log and his guitar never, ever quit. Bob Log's version of quick Delta blues is a continuation the sound that Bob Log and Thermos pioneered in the duo, Doo Rag. The major differences are: greater emphasis on guitar showmanship, and drumming -one man band style-with his feet. It sounds like three drummers, two guitar players, and one sort of singer. Based in Tucson, Arizona, and Melbourne, Australia, he has made frequent tours of North America, Europe, Japan and Australia, Mexico, and Iceland.
His latest release, MY SHIT IS PERFECT, begins the onset of another slew of adventures. Geography be damned, Bob Log III intends to take these songs and his unique slide guitar party to the good people of the world. There is no town too remote, there never has been.
Left Lane Cruiser
This whiskey fueled two-man frenzy of blues-driven rock'n'roll noise straight from Fort Wayne, Indiana promise to hit you like a shock wave and show you a foot-stompin' good time. Left Lane Cruiser is comprised of Joe Evans on slide guitar and vocals with Brenn Beck on one big-ass bass drum, harmonica and a toolbox full of percussive gear. The raw blues duo of LLC have practiced through thick and thin to hone a sound unlike any other and have been together long enough to have previously released a couple of self-produced EPs. "Let your soul drive what you do" is the premise of their music, "give it all you got, and everything is an instrument: trash cans, paint trays, hubcaps, ladders, you name it."
Learning their craft by playing at house parties, at the corner streets of their home town, and rehearsing in a heatless garage, they have developed their personal take on the North Mississippi Hill Country sound. They have toured relentlessly, sharing the stage with artists such as Robert Belfour, Black Diamond Heavies, Hillstomp, and Chris Cotton among others. They have also appeared at the infamous Deep Blues festival in River Falls Wisconsin in 2007.
"Bring Yo' Ass To The Table" is the culmination of everything these boys have experienced as a band during the four years of their existence, it's "greasy hot, shaved dry, and crazier than your smokin' methed-up ex-girlfriend who keeps singin' 'Down By The River I Shot My Baby' thru a two-dollar pawn shop mic she jerry-rigged thru that ol' gunshot black & white TV in the backyard and dedicating it to you with love m*therf*cker" to quote Deep Blues guru Rick Saunders.
In September 2008 Left Lane Cruiser embarked on their first European Tour. The first few shows were cancelled due to issues with passports upon initially arriving in the UK, forcing the two members to return to the United States for several days. Problems with passport were then resolved and Left Lane Cruiser resumed the tour.
Their third album, All You Can Eat, was released on Alive Records, September 15, 2009.
The band released its fourth album on March 1, 2011, on Alive Records, some of which was recorded with the John Wesley Myers, the keyboard player for the Black Diamond Heavies, also signed to Alive Records.
White Trash Blues Revival
A bunch of cardboard, duct tape, a trash can, a couple buckets, a busted ass skateboard and a bunch of hollerin' and you have the White Trash Blues Revival.
Joe Bent plays the first ever fully functional skiddely-bo... and he plays the hell out of if too! The skiddely-bo, a diddly-bo, of his own design created out of a skateboard, a red stripe bottle, and two guitar strings grind out the dirtiest of the delta blues. A 2x4 for support, a simple broken guitar pick-up and a Marshall half-stack completes the sludgy delta sound.
Ol' Sausage Paw, you may know him from a little blues rock outfit known as Left Lane Cruiser. Well, he decided to put away his real drum kit and bring out his garbage. OSP or Brenn as others might know him bangs the shit out of a cardboard box, a paint tin, a trash can and an electrified 5 gallon bucket.
Rounding out the group is Ando on his Gutbucket Bass of Death. After stealing his mama's wash bucket and drilling a hole in the bottom Ando went months without washing his clothes.
Dirty Pete Diva started playing with the group to fill in for Ol' Sausage Paw when he was playing rockstar with his other band. Pete brings his old school punk energy blasting out hip hop beats on his trusty 13 year old keg still half full of stale beer.
