Feastem is a Finnish grindcore band, formed in November 2005 by Kari, Olli and Antti in the town of Raahe. After trying out a couple of drummers they were soon complete with Patrik. Feastem's first live assault was at Lybestock festival in early 2006.
Full of Hell
A seamless mixture of hardcore, noise, and death metal. Not only has the young band proven that they have the musical chops to keep up with older members of the DIY scene through several releases, but their live performances are always memorable and reveal an unparalleled intensity. Ocean City, MD
Gehenna is a Norwegian black/death metal band. Gehenna was formed in January, 1993 by original members Sanrabb, Dolgar, and Sir Vereda. Their first demo, entitled Black Seared Heart, was recorded between the 3rd and 7 June 1993 in Soundsuite Studios, and was released as a cassette. Around this same time, a 7" titled Ancestors of the Darkly Sky was released by Necromantic Gallery Productions.
Shortly after the release of these two recordings, Sir Verada left the band due to legal problems, and was replaced by Dirge Rep. The band also enlisted Svartalv as bass player during this time.
Up until this time, the band had yet to play any live shows. It was not until February, 1994 that the band made their live debut.
In 1994 Sarcana joined the band and added keyboards to the mix.
One of only three east coast shows! Hellshock is a Crust Punk band from Portland, Oregon that was formed in 2000. They combine a brand of "Dark" Crust Punk with Hardcore Punk, and Thrash Metal. Lyrically, the band writes almost exclusively about war. The five-piece has ex-members of Remains of the Day, Atrocious Madness, From Ashes Rise, and Detestation.
Old Lines, a new band featuring members of now-defunct bands Ruiner and Pulling Teeth, Mitch Roemer, Jake Berry, Matt Taylor, Sean Bajek
Rotten Sound is a Finnish grindcore band, formed in 1993 in Vaasa.
Rotten Sound plays music in the same vein as Napalm Death and Extreme Noise Terror, lyrically attacking social issues such as greed, conformity and racism. The band has been praised mostly for its ferocity and relentlessness, as well as the unusually high musicianship of the group.
Playing live has always been a high priority for ROTTEN SOUND and their journeys led them to share stages with CARCASS, EXHUMED, VICTIMS, DISFEAR, PHOBIA, MISERY INDEX, NASUM, PIG DESTROYER, NAPALM DEATH, DOOM and many other leading bands of the extreme music scene, which they shaped in union with the Finns. Now 2013 will be more than just another year for shaking the foundations of live venues and assaulting people with deadly Grindcore. ROTTEN SOUND are also planning to re-enter the studio in order to record their next album straight after the extensive touring is done. Yet first it's time to get on the road and to have the final anniversary party heralded by "Species at War". "Keep your eyes peeled, follow the news and join the Grindcore party in a city near to you!", finishes Niinimaa. War is here!
Tragedy is a modern hardcore punk band, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but currently residing in Portland, Oregon. The band formed in 2000 and was born from the ashes of influential modern hardcore bands His Hero is Gone and Deathreat.
From the insert to the band's first, self-titled LP on Tragedy Records (2000) Tragedy's music is characterized by its unrelenting, heavy hardcore punk sound, often punctuated by melodic interludes and downshifts in tempo. The band remains strongly aware of its roots but often takes the genre in newer, more innovative directions, pioneering a new breed of hardcore punk along with close friends and contemporaries From Ashes Rise, as well other bands residing in Portland and throughout the world.
