Oceanroyal is a San Francisco-based alternative rock band formed in 2006 by lead singer Kurt Seefeld and guitarist Brian London. Shortly after in 2008, Chris Garber (drums) and David Chen (bass) joined the group and the quartet entered the studio to record their self-produced debut album — Sympathetic Vibration.
Oceanroyal returns in 2011 with the first installment of their second full-length album titled, Lucky Drive. The five songs released — known as Side A — were co-produced, engineered, and mixed by Bay Area rock-guru Sean Beresford (Third Eye Blind, Vanessa Carlton) and recorded at a private studio in San Francisco’s picturesque Pacific Heights neighborhood. Standout tracks “Flower Bones” and “Switch” reveal that the band has finally found their identity in modern independent rock music — with a signature glass half-full attitude. Finding comfort in their new skin, the band heads back into the studio this summer to begin recording Side B.
Sunrunners is an American Indie rock band originally formed in September 2010 by Lonely Mattress Salesman singer Stephen Loase, drummer Mark Colwell and guitarist Jordan Meyer. The trio expanded with the addition of One Lonely Robot bassist Forest Bohrer and guitarist/keyboardist Andy Francis in late 2010. The band is currently working on recording its first studio album. Sunrunners music can be described as a melodic, layered, progressive, atmospheric indie rock with swirling harmonies and driving rhythms. Imagine Muse and The Strokes in a knife fight while Phil Spector officiates.

Stop Motion Poetry
"It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when." That's what renowned songwriter Jeff Cohen (The Band Perry, The Spin Doctors) said about Stop Motion Poetry after working with the Modesto, CA-based indie pop quartet. Cohen has co-written a handful of songs with the group including "Madness is Modern" which recently found its way onto the soundtrack of Universal Pictures' Mental.
SMP plays catchy, romantic indie tinged pop songs in the vein of Snow Patrol or a more optimistic Death Cab For Cutie. The Beggs brothers Clark (lead vocals, piano), Devin (bass, vocals) and Spencer (drums, vocals) sing lush three part harmonies while guitarist Jian Salcedo weaves textures and melodies.
Discovered by LA based producer/writer Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, Five For Fighting, Augustana) the band recently self-released their debut album Jump Right In produced and tracked primarily by Blue. The band has toured extensively up and down the west coast and has plans to return to SXSW in 2013. Their constant craving to perform has found found the band sharing the stage with established artists ranging from an on the verge Bruno Mars to a packed intimate set by Natasha Bedingfield. They aren't slowing down anytime soon as the band is set to log over 100 shows in 2012.
Even more recently Glee casting director Robert Ulrich judged the band in a talent competition they won and said "Stop Poetry Motion is one of the hottest new bands out there. They're so talented, and I love their music."
