This event is 18 and over
Bastard Sapling began in the month of October in the year of 2007 as a one-man project recorded on a four track by Drew (Guitar). A drummer by the name of Elway soon after was requested to fill a slot on the drums. May 20th of 2008 B.S. played as a three piece with vocalist Mike of Inter Arma. A couple of shows passed and the addition of a second guitarist Steve (also of Inter Arma) was made. B.S. continued without a bassist for half the year until completing the line-up with bassist Peter of Battlemaster. Bastard Sapling intends to capture its own sound with heavy influences in the vein of: Ulver, Emperor,Immortal, Darkthrone, Drudkh, etc. The band recorded a 'raw rehearsal demo' that was released in limited copies during the Heart Of Winter Festival '08 in Richmond, Va. BOOKING US SUMMER TOUR W/ Inter Arma !!! 7"inch to be released on Tension Head Records in the summer. Full Length in the recording process.
Ashencult is a melodic black metal band based out of Philadelphia PA. Firmly placing its musical roots and influences in the traditional Swedish black metal scene, the nameless members of Ashencult infuse esoteric atmospheres with razor-wire guitar riffing to create a chaotic, morose backdrop for their punishing musical delivery and cavernous vocals.
We are HOUND and we play ROCK & ROLL

"Cauldron embodies everything that was great about the early 80's and add in the best bits of Megadeth" -KERRANG
"Worse than Bon Jovi" -BON GIOVI
