Mushroomhead

Mushroomhead

Mushroomhead's music unfolds like a waking dream. At once surreal and vivid, intense and intelligent--and impossible to ignore both aurally and visually--the Ohio octet's Universal debut, XX (Double X), delivers a left-of-center fervor, as evidenced in such songs as XX's creepily compelling debut single, 'Solitaire Unraveling'. And the time is certainly ripe for the masked marauders of Mushroomhead to unleash their highly musical, totally unusual, fully compelling onslaught on the public. Inked to Universal in late 2001, Mushroomhead's XX was previously released independently, the updated Universal version remixed by Toby Wright (Alice In Chains) with three additional tracks added. And with the completion of the Dean Karr-produced video (Marilyn Manson) for 'Solitaire Unraveling' the always-impassioned, sometimes spooky soundscape that is Mushroomhead has reached an apex. Since 1993, when the Cleveland-bred octet formed as a side project, no other band was wearing masks and jumpsuits and purveying ultra-melodic, ultra-dramatic music as influenced by Faith No More and Mr. Bungle as it was by hardcore, metal and even techno. In XX, Mushroomhead's years of hard work and hard music have come to a fearsome fruition.

Gemini Syndrome

Bursting on the scene, comes Gemini Syndrome from Los Angeles. And by bursting that is no understatement. Although only officially a band since January 2010, they are poised to become the next big thing happening in music. Their spectacular live show, brilliant musicianship accompanied by Aaron Nordstrom's melodic voice that still retains that metal edge, have raised the bar in the Los Angeles rock scene.

Rich Juzwick (Guitar) - Gemini Syndrome was borne out of Rich's great riffs with an ear for arrangements and the development of the music.

Aaron Nordstrom (Vox) - His melodic harmonies prefacing clear legible growls are fantastic, and his tone, timing, and lyrics are what make him a truly talented vocalist.

Brian Steele Medina (Drums) - Incredible backbone and clean beats, that aren't over bearing. A very visual drummer with great stage presence.

Mike Salerno (Guitar) - Brilliant guitar player whose rhythms set the tone for the harmonic flow of the music, and backing vocals that make the live show sonically full.

Alessandro "A.P." Paveri (Bass) - Talented italian born bass player that lends not only exceptional bass lines to the rhythm, but his unique bass style is also vitally important to the bands sound.

Gemini Syndrome is one of those perfect storms that come along in music every now and then, to create a package that works wonders. By no means is this is "local" band trying to make it in the scene. Produced by Mikey Doling (Snot/Soulfly/InVitro), even their live show lends credence to the fact that this is a polished product, ready to conquer. Their songs are hook after hook and are radio friendly tunes that connect with listeners, regardless of what genre they follow. That is the key; this is not a metal band or pop band or any one thing. They incorporate many influences to develop their own sound that crosses over musical genres. As well produced as they are, their live performance is every bit of what is on their recordings and so much more.

Final Trigger

FINAL TRIGGER – Rock and Roll Gangsters

Final Trigger is a band that comes along once in a lifetime. As the innovators of “Skrap-Metal”, their music combines high-energy metal with a hip-hop feel. The band creates a unique sound and a sick vibe, with vocal hooks and anthem choruses that are un-deniable to any listener.

Final Trigger’s story begins on ‘The Block’, nestled deep in Toronto’s urban jungle. Crime and poverty stricken, amongst a haven of thugs and deadbeats, four musically talented characters cross paths..
The spark of a lighter in a dark alley, smoking joints over the talk of escape and rebellion. A dream of a better life, where money/weed/bitches are a plenty. Free-styling with homies, rolling dirty, and dropping out of school to jam and pursue music. Most of all: a pact that would bind each member to a common cause, and entwine their fates forever. These are the fundamentals on which Final Trigger was born, and would lead it to become what it is today.

The Four Horsemen:
Lead Vocalist/Guitarist J-Roc provides the guitar-driven structures and shredding guitar solos with a tone reminiscent of Dimebag Darrell and Dave Mustaine. All while ripping vocal screams that would rival a Frankenstein of Lamb Of God, Snot and Hed PE.
Bass-man/Vocalist Fazio brings an equally heavy but funky vibe. He plays with a rock-solid presence and slap-bass style, with influences of Cliff Burton and Marcus Miller combined. Not to mention the ability to free-style vocally as if James Brown joined the Wu Tang Clan.
DJ/Vocalist Profit brings the smooth hip-hop vibe to the music, spitting savvy rhymes with old-school swagger, and tasteful keys and scratches.
Drummer JJ contributes the backbone beats and rhythms with a metal/funk style to get the groove just right. Blazing double kicks, sky-high cymbals, and a visual style unlike you’ve ever seen.

These players are the magical combination that makes Final Trigger an all-star line-up, and 2nd to none. The band believes hard in their music, and are proud to live their lyrics and image.

In 2009, Final Trigger released “Skrap Metal” (Boonsdale Records), mixed by Jagori Tanna of I Mother Earth. The release received critical acclaim in Canada & USA, charting on college radio, and the single “Start A Moshpit” receiving regular video rotation on Much Loud. Their CD release party in Toronto sold out the Opera House of 1,300 capacity.
Since then, Final Trigger have toured as direct support for Mushroomhead across the USA, and have shared the stage with other acts such as Hail The Villain, Baptized In Blood, Threat Signal, Slaves On Dope, Agent Orange, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Boondox and more.

“Skrap Metal Volume II” is currently in the works and due for a Fall 2012 release.

Born From Ashes in an archetype combining high octane hard rock with obsessive chaos propelling dueling vocals and guitar harmonies with unrelenting, vigorous rhythms. Releasing their first demo EP online to a worldwide audience in 2006, followed up with a successful 2008 digital release, BFA gained notoriety with their track, "Desertion" on Orlando's 101.1 WJRR.com.

FIELDS OF GLASS

Fields of Glass entered the battlefield in the Fall of 2006. All members are drawn from diverse backgrounds and influences that forge new strength in this alliance. The beginning of 2007 came with the completion of a 4-song demo- Hellforged.

With the demo completed, the next two years saw Fields of Glass playing and conquering everywhere they went, their territories reaching from Cocoa Beach to as far as South Carolina. In September of 2009, Fields of Glass conquered the Gorilla Battle of the Bands at AKA Lounge in Orlando, Florida (with over 200 of the Pagan Saints in attendance as back up) and won free recording time at AMMP Studios. Fields of Glass then spent the next year crafting their full length album, Origins, which was revealed on June 25th of 2010 at The Haven Lounge in Winter Park, Florida.

Their successful campaign seen thus far is just the start, a herald to the world of the great end times coming.

With the revelation brought forth by Origins, Fields of Glass seeks to continue their musical journey by recording a new album in 2012, one that foretells of the icy aftermath that shall follow the impending world's end...

lydia cant breath

Today, rock music and metal music seem to have been masked, manipulated, and drawn with every characterization possible. With genres of stagnate duplications and pools of curiously aggressive music addicts, the looming fans looking for an outlet have come to find Florida quartet Lydia Can’t Breathe. Over the past few years they have made a lot of noise in the metal scene. While constructing a sound unique to the usual genre classifications, this metal/rock band from Florida defies the normal sound with an exciting mixture of growling vocals, natural vocals, driving an over tone of heavy break downs with catchy progressions.

Lead singer Kyle, is known widely amongst Lydia fans for his unique views that are expressed outspokenly in his lyrics. Along with their inapprehensible behavior while performing, together their styles combined make up Lydia Can't Breathe.
