Prolific in the studio and tireless behind the decks, Eric Sharp's energy and dedication have given him opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Green Velvet, Neon Indian, Diplo and Afrika Bambaataa, while his tunes have turned up in sets by top international DJs such as Roy Davis Jr, Drop The Lime, Donald Glaude and Santiago & Bushido to name but a few. After meeting him at WMC, Tommie Sunshine immediately signed Sharp for the first offering on his brand new label Brooklyn Fire. Recently transplanted to Los Angeles, Eric has nailed down a DJ residency at Hollywood's massive Supperclub and has played afterparties for major motion picture premiers and Sundance Film Festival. 2013 will see some serious studio collaborations come to light.
Before Mr. Sharp was busy performing on the club and festival circuit, he spent his hours tirelessly promoting underground warehouse parties in SF. There, his work as a DJ and producer was shaped by the myriad sounds he was showcasing to a hungry public. In 2010, years of DJing, producing, and promoting culminated with the launch of Rock It Science Laboratories (RIS Labs) - a label and platform for like-minded producers - founded with New York's DJ Fame. With tracks ranging from the deep and subtle to the driving and syncopated, Sharp's music has been licensed by the likes of CSI: Miami and Hitachi. As his reputation as a tastemaker and DJ continues to grow, Eric's name is being heard in all corners of the globe.
