Dylan Chambers & The Midnight Transit
Dylan Chambers is the son of the legendary Lester Chambers, lead singer and front man of The Chambers Brothers. So you know he was born to rock!
Dylan Chambers & The Midnight Transit are quickly becoming one of the Hottest New Bay Area Bands! With a growing presence from only a few major shows the DCMT buzz is in the air! They capture the 60's/70's vibe speaking about peace, love and positive change while staying relevant to the now generation. Dylan Chambers is the son of Lester Chambers, lead singer and front man of The Chambers Brothers. So you know he was born to rock! He is definitely carrying on the passion and musical heritage while keeping his own unique sound and style! DCMT have individually played all over the US from the House of Blues and The Troubadour in Hollywood, To Lincoln Center in New York, to Performing at both the 40th Anniversary of The Summer of Love and 40th Anniversary of Woodstock "WestFest" in Golden Gate Park for over 50,000 people. Recently Dylan traveled to N.Y.C to Perform at The City Winery, ranked one of the Top 100 music venues in the US for the "Music For Occupy" CD Release Party. Which is now under Grammy Nomination consideration! DCMT have been hard at work in the studio writing new material and crafting a sound that blends Riff-Riding Rock and Funky Soulful Pop to make you want to move and keep you in the groove! Many fans compare their look and sound to a mix of Lenny Kravitz and The Red Hot Chili Peppers! From the younger rock/dance crowd to the older fans of Jimi Hendrix, Otis Redding and The Chambers Brothers, DCMT bridges the age gap and makes music that impresses your heart, mind, body, and soul!
The Highway Poets
Formed in 2007 in the hills of small town Petaluma, The Highway Poets merged with Hillside Fire and fuses a blend of Folk, Bluegrass and Americana. They are here to heal the soul.
After losing Sebastian's father while he sat in at a gig in 2007, the boys were bound together with a more spiritual and professional drive. More than 5 years later, the band still brings its lyrically, soul infused unique rock sensibility to audiences across the West Coast showing integrity and sharing a true passion for music and life with everyone in their path.
Playing with Blue Oyster Cult, Fog Hat, Johnny Winter, Jackie Greene, Devil Makes Three, A.L.O. and The Mother Hips, among others, Sebastian leads the group along with multi instrumentalist Travis James, Taylor Schroder on the upright bass all the while being backed by the steady pulse and pocket groove of Shane Schlick on a variety of instruments. Their harmonies and talent have gained them recognition and a loyal fan following.
They are really just a collection of road worn poets with steel hides and hearts of gold, coming together when the winds are just right and the tides roll back.
