High Plains Comedy Festival 7

High Plains Comedy Festival is a comedy festival held each August in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 2013 by Denver comedian/writer Adam Cayton-Holland, the Festival features a mix of local and national comics in venues throughout the city—with a special emphasis on the historic Baker neighborhood surrounding South Broadway. High Plains has quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talent-packed and fun-filled Festivals in the country.

High Plains was designed as a love letter from Cayton-Holland to his beloved hometown of Denver. A three-day party for performers and fans alike to come together and celebrate both comedy and the “Queen City of the Plains.” Once considered more of a cowtown than a city, Denver’s population has exploded and its comedy scene has grown to be one of the biggest and best outside of LA and New York. Due in no small part to High Plains’ success, Denver-based comedians have garnered national attention including spots on "The Tonight Show," "CONAN," and "Last Comic Standing." Cayton-Holland’s group The Grawlix is now in production on season two of their TruTV show "Those Who Can’t."
