Born 8th of March 1958 in Hammersmith, London, England.
Started his musical career in 1977 as a punkrocker in the band Mean Street, before being sacked in May 1977 for being "too creative". Responded to an advert in Melody Maker to join the band The Lasers, alongside Paul Gardiner. Both soon left to form their own punk band, Tubeway Army, with his uncle Jess Lidyard filling in on drums. In 1978 Tubeway Army was signed to Beggars Banquet and released a couple of punk singles. By then he was using the name Numan and the band was performing live in pubs and clubs around London, supporting The Lurkers. Whilst recording demos for Beggars, Gary stumbled upon a Minimoog that had been left behind in the studio, still programmed to a sound that caught his attention. The rest, as they say, is history. Gary Numan is considered one of the foremost pioneers in electronic dance music.
Born February 23, 1980 in Austin, Minnesota. American musician and composer.
BOY HARSHER is a dark electronic duo that produces gritty dance beats infused with ethereal vocals, creating a sound that is eerie, intense and incredibly danceable. Augustus Muller develops the underbelly of sound with minimal beats and grinding synths, where Jae Matthews whispers, screams and chants on top. Together, the music created is somewhere between industrial, drone and confessional storytelling. Muller and Matthews both have a strong background in film and their cinematic approach translates effectively in both their recordings and live performance.
Boy Harsher started in early 2013 under the name Teen Dreamz. The project was based on short stories written and read by Matthews then live scored by Muller. As the project matured the instrumentals became more dance influenced and Matthews’ delivery became more dynamic and spontaneous. In January of 2014 Teen Dreamz took on the moniker Boy Harsher.
Yr Body is Nothing, Boy Harsher’s debut LP, was released by Atlanta’s DKA Records in June of 2016. The LP has been described as a “darkly beautiful and very emotional new record” by Gorilla Vs. Bear and as “highly danceable fantasy narratives of desire and nuanced discomfort” by Decoder Magazine. The album was recorded at home in Northampton, Massachusetts with additional recording and final mixing done at Dollhouse Studios by Peter Mavrogeorgis. The first pressing quickly sold out and a 2nd pressing was released January 2017 ahead of Boy Harsher’s US tour.
Their first EP was mostly recorded at home in Savannah using small collection of cheap synthesizers. These recordings were fleshed out in the studio under the guidance of veteran engineer and producer Peter Mavrogeorgis at Dollhouse Studios. After a short, but productive mixing and mastering session Boy Harsher completed their EP Lesser Man. Lesser Man was originally released by Savannah’s Soft Science on small run cassette. St. Paul’s Night People re-released Lesser Man in April.
Black Marble are a post punk group from NYC.

Lust For Youth
“Movement and gesture is natural. The flâneur has an iPhone, and their heart is embroidered into a microfiber sleeve in gold.
Lust for Youth are a three-piece from Copenhagen made up of Hannes Norrvide, Malthe Fischer & Loke Rahbek. 2014’s acclaimed album, International, took the melancholic insomnia of their former releases out into the street and away from the domestic frustrations of a life in headphones. Suddenly, surrounded by bodies, and with a staccato heart, Balearic infatuations and capricious nights in crowded clubs set the mood for Norrvide’s pining sighs. International marked Lust For Youth’s new-found decadence with fully resolved charm and enhanced self-deprecation.
This was swiftly channeled into their recent hit, “Better Looking Brother.” Compassion’s first single was streamed over 50k times in its first month, capping off a highly successful 2015 of worldwide tours and critical social media updates.
Compassion restates beauty for a time of crisis and clickbait. Judgement, design, form, and opinion: to what end will we refine our world if we can’t also make an anthem of our lives? This is the tender conspiracy: I’m on twitter; I have an anthem. Do we have an anthem? We have lust. Let’s meet irl.
Lust for Youth are affectionately vicious, and vulnerably sharp. They are the anticipation of the comedown as you come up on the best you’ve ever been of- fered from a bathroom stall. This is the spectrum: a low you know, and a dizzy new height.
Hearts blind lights and finance desire. Is it the fate of the cunning to look good, or is it just cunning to look this good? Compassion is dexterity: we all look this good. An impulse is an appetite, and you’re entitled to everything. Multitask collapse and revolution because you’re a beautiful mess.
Compassion is deliverance. Anticipate compassion.” —Patrick Quick
ADULT. is the Detroit duo Nicola Kuperus and Adam Lee Miller. They played their first lives show together in Germany in 1997 under the name Artificial Material. In early '98 they released their first 12" under the moniker Plasma Co. Later that year, they released their first 12" under the name ADULT. Before forming ADULT., Miller was half of the band Le Car.
Kuperus and Miller also make sculpture, paintings, films, photographs, performances, videos and installations. They strive to intersect the lines between art and audio. They have exhibited their work at institutions such as the Austrian Cultural Forum (NY), Mattress Factory (Pittsburgh), Detroit Institute of Arts (Detroit), MOMAS (Saitama, Japan), and Centre d'art contemporain de Meymac (FR). They have shown their film The Three Grace(s) triptych at places such as Anthology Film Archives (NY), Distrital Film Festival (Mexico City), and Grey Area for Art and Technology (SF).
HTRK, to be pronounced as 'HateRock', began performing in 2003 as a duo consisting of Sean Stewart and Nigel Yang, both ex-members of Portraits of Hugo Perez. Later adding vocalist Jonnine Standish, the group took on a more haunting sound. On 22nd March 2010, HTRK announced the death of Sean Stewart: "Sean Stewart R.I.P. b. 6 Feb 1981, d.18 Mar 2010". Since then the group is made up of Jonnine Standish (wife of Conrad Standish) and Nigel Yang.
Citing such major influences as the electronic music label Mego, The Birthday Party (Rowland S. Howard being their mentor and initial producer just before his death), Krautrock, David Lynch and Suicide, HTRK combined highly textured guitar noise with groove-laden basslines and profound drum machine patterns.

Psyche started in early 1982 as brothers Darrin and Stephen Huss performed for the first time in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada under the name PSYCHE. Briefly appearing as a trio with Dwayne Goettel on synths. They performed a combination of horror and electronics that was completely unheard of in their region. After several cassette releases their debut album "Insomnia Theatre" was released through their own label independently in 1985, and later signed to New Rose Records for a new edition making it's European debut. Ever since the underground success with "The Brain Collapses", and club hit "Unveiling The Secret", Psyche has continued to release a variety of songs and albums enveloping every facet of the electronic pop music genre. From cold harsh industrial, through warm synthpop, dancefloor minimal, dark wave, and beyond. Various members have collaborated with Darrin and continued expanding the Psyche legacy from the renowned cover of "Goodbye Horses", to "Sanctuary", and what can be heard on "The 11th Hour" as well as seen on their Imaginary Life DVD which compiles music videos, and performances covering the years between 1983 - 2005 respectively.
"Detroit's Paul Bancell, Ben Saginaw and Chris Samuels are Ritual Howls. They collect samples of the physical world and feed them with guitar, vox, bass, synth and drum machines to create an aura of darkness over a pop sensibility. Paul Bancell provides lyrics that Lovecraft would approve of while Chris Samuels and Ben Saginaw provide sounds that bring his macabre tales lurching into the world of the living. Collaboratively, Ritual Howls create a surreal, introspective gloom that could fuel a disco in hell, a soundtrack to your favorite nightmares and most grisly fantasies." (Facebook profile info)
Odonis Odonis, the project of Toronto's multi-instrumentalist Dean Tzenos Hollandaze (Fat Cat, 2011) concocted a furious sound bred out of juxtaposing surf guitar from the 1960s and dark-punk outbursts from the 1980s, like Dick Dale jamming with alternatively Big Black or Joy Division, a strategy best embodied by Ledged Up. However, that strategy also yields melody, as the old-fashioned voodoobilly of Busted Lip and the vintage psychedelic-pop of Handle Bars prove. If Blood Feast winks a bit too obviously at mainstream U2-esque arena-rock, and the hypnotic lullaby Seedgazer is too mellow to truly engage, a case of unrestrained madness fuels the pounding gargatuan (but way too brief) White Flag Riot and the gloomy garage rant of New World. Eccentric nuances pop up everywhere in the brutal and raw arrangements, bestowing a sense of maximum instability onto the songs.
Producer, songwriter, and vocalist...
Kanga wields the power of objectification. She, herself prefers to remain obscured as an artist; not in complete opposition to being an icon, but to explore the tension between the cold world of industrial and the hyper-surreal feminism of pop. Hers is a mirror world where objectification humanizes the object.
Second Still is a Post-Punk / Coldwave band from Los Angeles, CA (USA).
Band members (Oct. 2016):
Ryan - guitar
Alex - bass
Suki - vocals
Void Vision is the electronic solo project of Philadelphia-based musician, Shari Vari, formed around 2009 when the minimal wave and coldwave genres were undergoing a revival and rebirth thanks to labels such as Wierd Records (home to acts such as Xeno & Oaklander, Led Er Est, Martial Canterel, Automelodi, etc.) and Veronica Vasicka's Minimal Wave, among others. Void Vision quickly became known for striking live performances and their unique brand of dark, danceable songs that pay homage to the past without being a prisoner to it. They released their first single ‘In Twenty Years’ on Blind Prophet Records, receiving the attention of labels like Rough Trade, who included a track on one of their well-curated synth wave compilations. After the release of a split vinyl and various tracks for tapes and compilations, Void Vision's debut album, 'Sub Rosa' was released on Berlin-based Mannequin Records to much acclaim, and sold out of multiple pressings.
Void Vision's hardware-based, analog tracks are dominated by Vari's haunting, powerful voice and emotionally engaging melodies. But unlike many others associated with the genre, the songs are quite dynamic in range and structure, referencing a cross-section of the last 30 years of electronic music, while retaining a strong sense of personal character and soul that sets it apart from the rest.
The past few years have been spent touring and sharing the stage with the likes of ADULT., Gary Numan, Boy Harsher, Drab Majesty, Crash Course In Science, HIDE, The Soft Moon and many others. The track 'Sour' was also recently featured on the Emmy-award-winning Netflix documentary 'Wild Wild Country'.
A new album is due to be released in 2019 and a Euro tour is planned for May.
