Unlimited Gravity (Ronnie Weberg) is a multi-talented life-long musician originating from the heart of the contemporary electronic music scene, Denver, Colorado. The Unlimited Gravity sound is best described as an ingenious alchemical hybrid, combining the chaotic energy of crunchy crunk beats with the calculated precision and intensity of a classically trained composer. Setting himself apart from the masses, Ronnie has the unique ability to masterfully create the most marvelous dichotomy of sound within each track. Two dynamically oppositional forces are pitted against each other in a musical battle royale; the result is always a titanic struggle of epic proportions from which only Unlimited Gravity could possibly emerge victorious.
Performing live using completely original productions, Ronnie tramples genre boundaries with an energy that is utterly impossible to replicate. Unlimited Gravity adheres to no laws; he defies physics with his musical feats and is helping to usher in a new era of musicality, creativity and originality in electronic music. As Vice President of the Mile High Sound Movement, one of the most influential artist collective groups from Denver, Unlimited Gravity is changing the face of electronic and bass music industry forever.
Relocating to the Denver music scene back in 2014 from Omaha to further his music career, FunkStatik is no stranger to the grind. He immediately dove into the growing music scene to produce his first release, ‘Living On The Edge’ in 2016. Since, FunkStatik has continued to stack his successes as more and more opportunities reveal themselves in 2019. Releasing an album each year since his debut, the producer has built quite the stealthy catalog through Denver collective Mile High Sound Movement Records.
With a proclivity for sultry synths, penetrating vocals and uptempo percussions, FunkStatik has the ability to move every single body in a packed out room. Digging through his electronic vault of sound you will hear several influences throughout his body of work. You’re just as likely to discover hints of industrial-esque bass to crunchy rhythms and upbeat arpeggios - FunkStatik executes multiple genres with precision. On his 2018 album, ‘Light the Way’, the track ‘Keep It Cool’ sees the producer dipping into hip-hop as well, and it’s a buttery union - his tight focus on production allows him to sonically shift from sound to sound seamlessly.
Showcasing his affinity for breaking new ground in the music realm, FunkStatik has a keen sense of how to make people dance, and each track is made to bring parties to life. Set to perform at major festivals this year like Electric Forest, Backwoods, Sonic Bloom and One Vibration, FunkStatik will continue this diligence well into 2019 with more releases and appearances on the festival circuit to come.
Twin brothers Zach and Charles Weinert spent many years working on separate musical projects, but in 2014, they relented to the inevitable and joined forces to create MZG. Shorthand for "monozygotic" (the scientific term describing identical twins), the name MZG describes the unique bond that only these two can understand.
Mom N Dad
The year 1958, the Busy Bee Cafe was hoppin’ and the jive was alive. Mom, a single young cat found her self alone at the juke box searching for a hot new sweet beat.
Just then, a strange young greaser approached the juke box. Mom hadn’t paid much attention, but she did notice he was the ginchiest boy in the diner.
Mom reached to her pocket to grab a nickel as Dad dropped a nickel in the jukebox. They locked eyes. As Mom began to scroll through the Jukebox, an artist she had never seen popped up, Skrillex. Mom N Dad both immediately tapped the mysterious artist.
Just then, a shock surged through both Mom N Dad as they found themselves falling. The juke box wasn’t just a jukebox, it was a time machine. Mom N Dad found themselves in the time space continuum.
Mom N Dad suddenly found themselves in 2019…
The Mile High Sound Movement
Denver based artist collective & record label
Launched in July 2017 Since JulEYE started as a DJ project but has quickly evolved to a healthy mixture of DJing, original music and live instrumentation. Living in Denver, CO and having access to learning from and working with some of the top producers and musicians in the game, and the addition of turntablist Brisco Jones and veteran keyboardist Todd Stoops has allowed my project to be constantly evolving through multiple genres.
