Joe Bourdet Band
Joe Bourdet and Band is a versitile country-esque rock combo that can range in style from gently loping acoustic ballads with delicate harmony vocals to intertwining slide guitar leads and tastefully vintaged-out rock sounds. The themes can involve pastoral imagery, sometimes betraying a love for the Sierra Nevadas. Often with a subtle spiritual subtext, the band presents the music of a seeker, one perceiving beauty, reaching for something that can't be fully articulated or understood, and thats OK.
Joe Bourdet is from Nevada City CA. He currently resides in Los Angeles CA. b. 1981.
Creds: Co-produced two full length albums with the band Whispering Pines. Composed the musical soundtracks for the films 'Patagonia Trips -- #Yuki_Surf' and 'Fishing for Unicorns.' Additionally, music has appeared in the TV series 'Dusk Till Dawn,' 'Damages,' 'Franklin and Bash,' the documentary 'The Pioneertown Palace' and probably some other stuff that the artist can't remember now.
