I Lost My Virginity on August 15, 2010
Jamie Loftus (Comedy Central, Super Deluxe) lost her virginity on August 15, 2010 and won’t shut up about it. She’s written a play that’s co-hosted by the man she lost her virginity to (sorry, Steven) and engages in a series of doll sex simulations, meat penises and full-on splash zones in order to recreate the event over and over until she emerges victorious over virginity, latex allergies, and hormones altogether.
“Well, this was one of the most original, innovative, unbelievable things that we saw all year long. Somehow Jamie Loftus manages to be as vulnerable, open, and honest as she is hysterically absurd about when she lost her virginity.” – The Comedy Bureau
Jamie Loftus is a comedian and cartoonist who lost her virginity on August 15, 2010. She currently writes and hosts "Upgraded" on Super Deluxe, writes and animates "Rat Teens" on Cafe, hosts the feminist podcast "The Bechdel Cast," has been named a Comedy Central Comic to Watch and is the writer and star of Comedy Central upcoming digital series "Irrational Fear." She has eaten over 400 pages of Infinite Jest and has her baby teeth bronzed and loaded into a gun.
