Los Caligaris

Los Caligaris

The Caligaris are a band formed in 1997 in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, which fuses diverse musical genres ranging from rock, reggae, ska to the Cordoban quartet, adding to its proposal the band developed circus routines on stage during their concerts. The name of the group is inspired by the legend of the clown "Caligari", who while developing his routine, died on stage hiding his agony as part of his act. In tribute to that great clown, "Los Caligaris" are born, flying the banner of fun until the end.

The band, which turned 20 in 2017, has 8 albums released and was nominated in 3 opportunities to the Carlos Gardel awards in Argentina, obtaining that award in 2017 with their album "Circología". In addition, it has been highlighted by the Konex Foundation as one of the 100 best artists of the decade in his country.

In October 2017, Los Caligaris perform at the Palacio de los Deportes (Mexico City) with a concert to celebrate their 20 years, presenting their first DVD entitled "The happiest show in the world".

As part of his tour of several Latin American countries with the name "Spirit Payaso", which has been very successful especially in Mexico, they opened for the first time a date to appear at the National Auditorium. Now they bring that show to the United States.
