The Jammin Jellies can be best described as an energetic funk/soul band, led by Matt “Jammin” Jamele. After drumming for a variety of groups as a sideman, Matt decided that he wanted to go in a direction that he was most passionate about, playing music in the styles that he grew up listening to and making sure the audience was thoroughly entertained. This led to the idea of the Jammin Jellies, a play on his last name (suggested by a friend), and the idea is gradually coming to an exciting fruition. Although relatively new on the scene, the band looks to pack a powerful punch by bringing a mixture of energy, musicianship, and interaction to every performance.
Cody & The Blackouts
Banded together by their shared passion for songcraft, Cody & The Blackouts was formed in 2017 by critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Cody Hudock and drummer/multi-instrumentalist Brent Stranathan. Joined by Joanna Hudock (vocals), Will Weissman (bass), and Jimmy Holman (guitar), they quickly began creating a brand of timeless, rollicking pop rock that would be at home in any era. Their debut studio LP, produced by Ethan Kaufmann (Avril Lavigne, Wild Party) and mixed by Chandler Harrod (Capitol Records) is due to be released in September 2019.
Crowned best female vocalist at the 2018 Austin Music Awards, Tameca Jones has long been called the “queen of Austin soul” by the many fans who attend her sold out shows. She regularly plays the SXSW Festival every year. In 2015, Tameca was invited to play Austin City Limits Festival despite not having a record out. She has also graced the stages of the 2018 NFL Draft, Chicago and Austin Food and Wine Fest and the famous Apollo Theater in New York. As a single mother of twins, Tameca put her career’s trajectory on a leash to provide her twins with all the love and attention they needed. Now that her twins are seventeen, she is ready to show the rest of the world why she is so beloved in Austin, TX. In her nearly decade of local domination she’s opened for St Paul and the Broken Bones, Vintage Trouble, Jill Scott, Smokey Robinson, Leon Bridges, Willie Nelson, Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, and more. Recently, she opened for Grammy Award winning guitarist and fellow Austin TX native, Gary Clark Jr. Joining Gary on the road and opening for him in sold out theaters was a dream for her. It was the first time the singer had ever been on tour. In September 2018, she played for one of the biggest crowds ever. Current presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke personally asked her to sing before fellow Texan musician Leon Bridges at his Austin rally that had over 50,000 attend. She’s been featured in Billboard, Rolling Stone, NPR, and more.
Tameca plans to record and release new music in the summer and fall and continue to tour.
Nelle Rose is a Singer/Songwriter who was born in Mount Vernon, NY and raised in Freehold, NJ. At the tender age of five, under the direction of her mother, she began her musical journey by singing in the choir. Influenced by the likes of Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, and more, she set out to add her name to a group of artists who march to the beat of their own drums. She has adopted a “now or never” mindset: living to fulfill her purpose of touching the world with her gift.
Nelle Rose released her Debut EP Fool for Love in 2017, chronicling the ebbs and flows of a relationship fallen apart. Inspired by personal stories, Nelle Rose paints portraits of anticipation, doubt, hurt, and hope with her blend of R&B, Soul, and Pop inspired records. Working with a slew of talented writers, producers, and instrumentalists, Nelle Rose hopes to offer listeners a transparent body of work that is identifiable across all demographics.
In early 2018, she faced many health challenges that impacted her voice. Upon her full recovery, she decided give up her possessions and relocate to Los Angeles to further pursue her dreams. As she works on her new project, she invites you follow her journey and embrace her story through song. This is only the beginning for this rising star, as her trial and tribulations have only made her stronger.
