Arbutus Singers have been together since 1998. Over the last 20 years, the Arbutus Singers has grown to 80 voices of men and women. The non-auditioned choir sings across the Victoria for various charities and has raised well over $250,000 for different causes, including the ChoirKids Program which was started by the Arbutus Singers members and then generously continued on by the Victoria Conservatory of Music. Jack Boomer is the founder and director of the Arbutus Singers and Robyn McKinnon has been the pianist for sixteen years.

The Arbutus Singers is a community choir that was formed in 1998. Over the last 21 years, they have been singing around the Greater Victoria area supporting organizations and local charities to raise money through their joy of singing and making music. The Arbutus Singers perform a wide array of songs, such as Bohemian Rhapsody, He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother, a Jesus Christ Superstar Medley and The Glory of Love. Proceeds from the June 1 and 2 concerts will go the Victoria Conservatory of Music’s ChoirKids Program.
