The Bobby Lees
The Bobby Lees are a punk blues band from Woodstock NY. They recorded their first record “Beauty Pageant” at Dreamland Recording Studios in 2017. Released in early 2018, they have gotten some great press locally and in the UK.
Eli and Kenny are a band and they love music! TOP nachos is the band; they wrote an EP, and ever since they just can’t stop writing music. Music, like songs about catching grandma smoking that green, and other songs about tinder and selfies and driving and donating to the bands. Punk is the music and 2 is the number. Music! What else can ya say? Other than they’re from Queens & Kingston, NY and are on King Pizza Records. There’s new music too! A 7” split with The Rizzos and their first LP which was just released on September 27! It’s called DANK SIDE OF THE MOON and it has songs on it! They have been on the road many times to bring the music to the people, and as long as the people want the music, TOP nachos will be the music that the people want.
Irrepressible, loud, direct, fuzzed out — Stuyedeyed are an unhinged skull rattling atop a spine, snapping to intensity and directing your attention to our reality, right now.
Originating in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, Stuyedeyed (pronounced sty’d - eyed) cultivate an unfettered attitude in their music to embolden the disenfranchised to challenge the status quo.
These songs speak to the experiences of singer and songwriter Nelson Antonio Hernandez-Espinal and are brought to life with bassist Humberto Genão, drummer Luis Ruelas, and guitarist George Ramirez.
Broadcasting a riotous energy to the important dialogues of our time in a tumultuous yet carefully articulated sonic wave that emanates resilience. Stuyedeyed depicts the experiences of being young Latinxs in a “New York-for-some” bubble. With rhythm, aggression, conviction, and cut teeth, they slash through a thick curtain of anxiety and depravity with urgency.
Their upcoming EP, Moments of Terribleness, captures notions of self-identity and assimilation in a targeted, experimental explosion. These songs deconstruct what is “Cool” and memorialize our vanity in an era of individualism.
Their challenge is to expose vulnerability, to swim in it and understand that in those deep waters, there is comfort. And if anything they are there with you, in every recording and at every show. Their message is simple. “No one is cool. No one is important.
Hairbag is a Kingstonian punk trio led by members Jordan Roque (vocals/guitar), Connor Lennon (bass), and Skyler Onderdonk (drums).
With a distinct sound ranging from voraciously raw 1980’s hardcore, to soothing blue-brain ballads, their high energy performance is something you do not want to miss! From Jimi Hendrix to the Bad Brains, from Culture to The Clash, Hairbag calls upon their roots to deliver memorable tunes in a vicariously cathartic experience that will leave you wanting more.
Afflicted by the suffering and deaths of loved ones in the current opiate epidemic, Hairbag is determined to combat this crisis by arming people with the power to save a life. At any Hairbag show you can (and should) walk away with a FREE Narcan Overdose Kit. Each overdose kit is easy to use and will reverse the effects of an opioid overdose within minutes.
