D.R.I w/ Fastplants, Triton, Sinister Pig

Dirty Rotten Imbeciles

Dirty Rotten Imbeciles is a hardcore/punk/thrash metal band. Frequently credited as the abbreviated D.R.I. Although they began in Houston, TX, in 1982, the band relocated to San Francisco, CA, in 1983 and are generally associated with both cities. Today, the band members are spread out across the country.

D.R.I. is led by founding members Kurt Brecht (vocals) and Spike Cassidy (guitar). The band's name was taken from one of the insults that Brecht's father hurled at the group, who practiced at the Brecht family home, when they first started playing together. In the beginning, D.R.I. was a hardcore punk band and was reknowned for their extremely short and fast songs (their debut EP featured 22 songs in 18 minutes). By the mid-1980s, the band was one of the first to mix hardcore punk and thrash metal, which would be come known as the "crossover" sound.

After the release of their last studio album to date ("Full Speed Ahead" in 1995), D.R.I. continued touring regularly, and went on hiatus on and off, in over the next 20 years. The band did not record any new music until releasing the EP "But Wait... There's More!" in 2016.

Triton is a heavy metal outfit from Northern Colorado with influences spanning doom, death, stoner, thrash, and sludge.

Fastplants are an aggressive fast paced skate-punk band from Waukegan, Illinois. The band was formed in late 2012 by Matt Anzelone (guitar/vocals) and Marc Harman (drums). After a handful of guitarists had come and gone the band was finally solidified in 2014 with the addition of Abe Linders (guitar/vocals) and Joel Morgan (bass guitar). Fastplants released two self titled EPs (cd/digital) between 2013 and 2014, and in 2015 signed on with Beercity Skateboards and Records out of Milwaukee, WI. Since signing with BCS&R Fastplants have released two LPs, the first being a split with Scottish thrash/punk band Daniel Waxoff (2016-17), and the second their first full-length LP titled “Spread The Stoke” (2017). The band has had their songs used in videos for Thanks Skateboarding Magazine (EU), and is featured in Episode 17 for Scene TV Raw with Pro-Skater Scott Foss. The band has also independently booked two west coast tours (2016 & 2017) in support of their releases, performed extensively throughout the midwest, and have shared the stage in support of ZEKE, DRI, Agent Orange, McRad, NOBUNNY, Against The Grain, and many more.
