The Hatrick

While Kansas and the Carolinas lay claim to their own variety of bluegrass music - The Hatrick sees fit to represent the sovereign state of Missouri with their own unique breed: Stompgrass. Every member of the Hatrick sings… every member plays percussion with their feet... and with their remaining limbs; they incorporate acoustic guitar, bass, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, hamonica, kazoo, washboard, and whatever else they can fit in the trailer.

We are a few ladies from the midwest that love the old timey folk/bluegrass music that we have grown up with and are attempting our version this sound. from the twangy vocals, to the strumming guitar, banjo, and mandolin we've created our own sound that we like to call folkgrass. so here's our take on it and we hope you enjoy it!
Dave Dearnley
David Dearnley is an award winning Missouri singer/songwriter. Survivor of a good upbringing, successful career and multi-decade, State sanctioned domestic union, Dave is now a happily unemployed media dropout, vagabond and purveyor of Amerifolkicana.
