The Lost Wages

Memphis sibling duo, The Lost Wages, return again to Eddie’s Attic Friday September 13th. The show will be opened by Atlanta native, Drew Kohl.

The Lost Wages is a sibling led Americana band from Millington, TN. Lead singers/ songwriters, Houston and Cyrena Wages, fuse honky tonk edge with anthemic melodies reminiscent of the 70's Laurel Canyon scene, and soulful ballads that nod at the nature that makes Memphis, Memphis. Now based in East Nashville, the two children of a small-town judge elicit an unapologetic thumbprint and a “fresh take on a nostalgic sound.”

Previous credits include opening for hero Emmylou Harris, being voted "Top 3 Best Local Bands” by the Nashville Scene, being named “Country Rock Revivalists” by Pandora Radio, and landing a track in a major motion picture starring Robert Redford and Nick Nolte.

Late 2018, The Lost Wages released their debut EP, “Rose Motel.” The band's breakout video for single, “Drunk and Forget,” is in rotation now on CMT. Houston and Cyrena are currently completing solo projects, alongside a new TLW project, all slated to release in 2020.

Michael Magno is a Florida native who transplanted to Atlanta in the late 90’s. He had already established himself as a professional touring musician before landing onto the Atlanta music scene. With an undeniable voice, Magno brought his style of soulful pop songwriting and an extensive coverlist that garnished him immediate work in the Atlanta market. He quickly became an asset in the Atlanta music circles, recording with a variety of local musicians and lending his talents to live shows as a utility sideman on keyboards, guitars and backing vocals. At present, Magno is recording a new original self-titled project due in the fall of 2019, and performs on keyboards and vocals for the Brian Collins Band. Find him on social media @mrmagnomusic on FB, Twitter, Instagram and stream music from Spotify, iTunes, Apple music, Pandora and iHeartradio.
