Radiolucent, Lauren Morrow

Forming in Athens Georgia, Radiolucent began to build a solid fan base early on with their high energy, engaging performances and ability to establish personal connections with listeners through music. Upon completion of their debut album “Turn Me On and Turn Me Loose” in 2012, the Lucent boys began traveling the southeast leaving each town with their example of what an honest rock and roll show should be. After sharing the stage with a variety of artists ranging from Merle Haggard, Jamey Johnson and Blackberry Smoke to Cracker, Vintage Trouble and KISS the band experienced line up changes that would prove to greatly affect the flavor of their follow up album.

In July of 2014 Radiolucent entered into the studio to begin work on their second release “Electric City.” With the addition of 3 new members the group continues to push their creative boundaries and craft a product that is entirely their own. The new album which is currently in the later stages of the recording process is set to release in the Spring of 2015. Michael Mann expressed his excitement for the new project saying “This is the most proud I’ve ever felt about anything I’ve taken part in creating. It sounds better, the songs are better, our influences are more electric and it’s more fun than anything else we’ve ever done. I’m a proud proud Poppa!”

Lauren Morrow

With a high-octave range and a Georgia drawl, Lauren Morrow isn’t here to sing a love song — she’s here to tell a story. And though she might be new to Nashville, she’s already paved her way as one of the city’s most promising artists. You might know her as the crown jewel of The Whiskey Gentry, who have toured with Three Dog Night, Cracker, and Butch Walker, appearing on festival bills like Shaky Knees, MerleFest, and Bristol Rhythm & Roots (to name a few).
