Son of Alan Vega
Genesis Breyer P-Orridge DJ set
Artist formerly known as Genesis P-Orridge whose earlier career involved activities with with COUM Transmissions, Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV.
In 2003 Genesis P-Orridge changed identity to Genesis Breyer P-Orridge (aka Genesis/Djin Breyer P-Orridge) along with life partner Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge (a.k.a. Mother Jack/Miss Jackie). S/he began a performance series called Breaking Sex that was initiated by both he/herself and Lady J. Breyer. This project was about reunion and resolution of male and female to a perfecting hermaphroditic state, named Pandrogeny by Genesis Breyer P-Orridge. The project included having surgeries that blur the lines between their sexes, bringing them nearer to being one physically. S/he also relaunched Psychic TV as PTV3 in 2003.
Johnny Scuotto is a multi instrumentalist currently working on a solo project with an ensemble that consists of stings, horns, percussion and much more. Prior to his solo career he's shared bills with Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson and Martin Rev of 'SUICIDE'. His live performances make for a strange and visceral experience, as if 'Saturday Night Fever's' John Travolta was in 'Night of The Living Dead' with a hint of Prince and Ian Curtis. All in all it makes for an unforgettable show and one that shouldn't be missed.
