Wreath is a band from Brooklyn New York, highlighted by the bass playing and compositional style of 2018 international solo bass competition winner, Dylan DeBiase. Dylan’s use of complex chordal bass playing whilst singing lead vocals has been heralded by bass greats such as 5 time grammy award winner Victor Wooten who has said “Dylan is incredibly musical, one of my favorite performers”. Dylan brings to the table an entirely new and intriguing approach to the bass guitar and Wreath as a group bring a fresh feel to indie rock. The full bands performances, Brought to life by the incredible musicianship of Guitarist Connor Waage, vocalist Natalia Ramirez, and drummer Kevin Uravlek, have been noted by fans as “compelling and captivating, evoking nostalgia while clinging to indie rock roots.” Their sound is a blend of indie and post-rock infused with a subtle blend of jazz harmony and shimmering melodies. Wreath is unlike any band you’ve heard before and after multiple tours up and down the east coast, their debut record is on the way.
