Joanna Yaeger, or as she’ll quickly tell you, Jo to her friends, is a breath of fresh air and brings a sound like no other. Growing up on Sing Sing Road in the small upstate New York town of Horseheads, Jo proclaimed from the age of 4 that she would sing for the rest of her life. At a young age Jo was composing poems that later blossomed into songs as she fell further in love with music. From this early time in her life she began performing for family, friends, church events, and school functions as she was continually developing her talent.
In late 2014, Jo’s dreams of moving to Nashville became a reality. She worked part time jobs to survive while playing shows and writing as much as she could. In 2016 she took the leap of faith to pursue music full time quitting her last “real” part-time job. She continued booking her own shows around Nashville and surrounding areas playing an average of 7 times a week and writing.
That leap of faith paid off in the summer of 2016 when she caught the attention of Allegiant Entertainment Group. By late fall Allegiant signed her to a publishing and management deal as their flagship artist. In January of 2017 they recorded the first 3 songs of Jo’s debut, full length album and by early summer, 13 original songs were completed for the project. “Nowhere” is the first single release from the project and the accompanying acoustic music video is garnering world-wide play.
In December of 2017, Jo partnered with the Donelson Christian Academy high school choir to record a breathtaking version of the classic Christmas carol, “O Holy Night.” This video also received world wide play and accolades.
A special release close to Jo’s heart, “Dance in the Rain,” will be available in the fall of 2018. A song of Hope, it was co-written by Jo as a way to give encouragement thru life’s twists and turns. No matter what life looks like, we can choose to embrace every moment!
Jo commands a stage with grace, poise and wisdom beyond her years and takes the audience on a journey within their own soul as she bares hers. Regardless of the venue, all within earshot leave impacted by the piercing lyrics and powerful melodies Jo brings time and again.
To know Jo is to love her, she carries a passion and zest for life that is contagious whether you meet her on the street or performing at a venue. Ever mindful of her small town roots and the foundation she was raised on, Joanna carries a piece of home to every stage she graces. There is an incomparable richness woven between her progressive sound and vocal prowess.
Everything but nothing has changed about that wide-eyed, 4-year-old little girl dreaming of making it in music. Jo still sings at the top of her lungs and strives to change the world thru the power of music.
Born and raised in the now ultra-hip district of East Nashville, Charley Woods truly was "Nashville before Nashville was cool". This badge of honor helps her stand out among a wave of new talent that rushes into the city on a daily basis. But with a voice like hers, reputation isn't something you need in order to stand out among the rest. Tennessee born & bred, she prides herself on her passion for individuality. She brings an all-Americana sound to the heavily saturated pop/country
music scene that dwells in Nashville today. With her authentic, tell-it-like-it is personality & a relentless work ethic, Charley has opened doors for herself from an early age. She's sung alongside Brad Paisley during the 2011 CMA awards, she's appeared on Good Morning America and world renown stages such as The Grand Ole Opry and The Ryman Auditorium - all before the tender age of 18. As you can imagine, Charley Woods has learned to perform under pressure, but her greatest honor is creating a deep connection with her audience - And her ability to do so, is inspiring to say the least.
