Denver based and Boulder born, dream rock trio Evanoff is no doubt a force to be reckoned with in the Colorado music scene. The group has pioneered a unique, electrifying blend of analog and digital sounds they call “Dream Rock.” Dancey break beats, symphonic guitar riffs, powerful builds, and face melting jams define the increasingly popular genre.
Containing both heavy rock and soft melodic styles, the groups most stand out feature is their ability to capture the crowd’s attention while creating heartfelt tension accompanied by groovy dance beats that release unimaginable amounts of energy. There is an energetic joy and purification that comes from seeing an Evanoff show.....
Evanoff consists of its three core members: JJ Evanoff (Guitar), Jake Hall (Drums) and Brennan Forrester (Keys). In just under two years the band has performed at an array of major national festivals including Electric Forest, Euphoria and Gem & Jam, Mumford & Sons Gentlemen of the Road, Vertex, Sonic Bloom, and Arise. The trio has been hitting the road hard over the past two years creating major markets in the southwest, midwest and northeastern US. Their best markets reside in both Boulder and Denver where the band headlines/supports prestigious venues such as The Fox Theatre, Boulder Theater, The Bluebird, Cervantes, and The Ogden.
Telemetry is a live electronic band incorporating instruments with Abelton and midi controllers for an very full sound and dance party. Telemetry is based in Denver, Co. The trio have played some of Colorado’s most reputable venues and festivals such as; The Bluebird, Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, Hodi’s Hideout, Globe Hall, Arise Music Festival, Winter Werkout Festival and multiple mountain towns. They have shared the stage with national and international artists like; Griz, Perpetual Groove, The Werks, An-ten-nae, Casual Commander (of Sunsquabi), Octave Cat (members of Lotus & Dopapod) and many more. The group has released two albums in the last 3 years on multiple platforms including; iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud, BandCamp and more, with great online feedback/presence.
It all started out of frustration of being in bands that would end as soon as they began by Ian Rasmussen in 2005 while attending school in Los Angeles. A year later Ian moved back to Sacramento where he finished completing Telemetry's first release "The Lemon Tree EP" in 2008, which is available on iTunes. Eventually Ian would run into ex-band mate Ryan Dearcos from a band they played in when they were younger. After hearing the EP, Ryan asked if Telemetry was playing any shows and Ian told them all they need was a bass player. Not long after that conversation Ryan calls Ian asking if he could try out for bass. After one jam session things were in place.
With Ryan on board, Telemetry started working on their upcoming album Awaking From Temptation due out this summer. You can preview four songs from the upcoming album at www.facebook.com/telemetrymusic. Plans are already in the works for the next record so Telemetry has no plans of slowing down or fading away any time soon.
