Soulful and sweet / gritty and biting - his music spans a broad spectrum. Oliver Penn is a guitarist and singer who brings a refreshing fervor to the stage.
Hailing from Israel, Snir Yamin is a singer and songwriter with a personal and eclectic approach to his music. Intricate melodies, moody atmospheres and soft-spoken lyricism are the hallmarks of Snir’s work, as the singer conveys feelings of both darkness and light within his tunes, going for a melancholic, yet uplifting sensibility.
Hot Lips is an electro-grunge trio comprising of Karli Forgèt (vocals/synth), Alex Black (bass/vocals) and Keith Heppler (drums). After drumming in a multitude of indie rock projects, Forgèt utilized her musicianship and song writing on vocals and synth to form Hot Lips in 2016 with Heppler and Black. Gaining a strong underground following from energetic and engaging live shows, the band has secured supporting slots for Rob Zombie, Michale Graves of the Misfits, 3Teeth, MONOWHALES, Econoline Crush, Rusty, Crown Lands and Swollen Members.
Jason Bemis Lawrence is a songwriter, drummer, and multi-instrumentalist based in NYC by way of Louisville, KY. He has recorded and performed in bands such as Dean & Britta, Jesse Marchant, Caithlin De Marrais and The Building.
Growing up in Louisville, Lawrence took to studying drums and guitar at a young age. He attended college in St. Louis, where he focused his attention on drums and joined the Dischord-inspired bands Let Sleepers Lie and Speak Low.
Another Hotel Hallway was released this fall, on September 7. The album revolves around themes of isolation, as well as mortality and time. Ideas for many of the tracks were conceived while on tour across the country, during bouts of feeling like a perpetual guest or stranger. “It can be disquieting,” Lawrence says, “but distance can provide the opportunity to reflect on values and beliefs, as well as how we handle change and adapt.”
