DRY REEF is a group dedicated to establishing a wave of high-energy, uplifting music. Rooted in the rock/reggae sound that put them on the map, the young group incorporates inflections of indie-surf rock and electronic post-rock forming a refreshing, organic sound you cannot ignore. These 23-year-olds are rapidly evolving from dreamers to decision-leaders in the industry.
Hailing from Haïti and currently living in Paris, Mélissa Laveaux is a Montreal-born singer-songwriter who incorporates folk, blues, indie-pop and Creole influences into her music. Her soulful, vibrant vocals are the central thread of her art whose very essence is marked by her Haitian cultural heritage.
Safar is a Lebanese band based in New York, North Carolina and Beirut. They are Elie Abdelnour (Guitar), Mayssa Jallad (Vocals) and Fadi Tabbal (Guitar, Synth, Beats).
Safar released their EP "Studies of an Unknown Lover" in January 2018.
The Campfire Flies
The Campfire Flies is Deena Shoshkes, Toni Baumgartner, Ed Seifert, Matt Davis, Jon Fried and John Baumgartner.
Thomas and the Work-Men
THOMAS AND THE WORK-MEN is an exciting young alternative rock group from Columbus, Ohio. The group’s high-energy fusion of funk and rock melds with hip-hop and blues influences, and is catching the ears of new listeners across a city known for its diverse musical community. The group has had near sellouts at reputable local venues like The Shrunken Head and Woodlands Tavern, and played prime-time slots for WittFest 2018 and Skully’s Fall Fest 2018. Since the release of their debut EP “Chasing”, the band has made major strides: adding a fifth band member, tenor saxophone player Luke Mullins; touring the Midwest, with stops in Bloomington, IN and Chicago, IL; and recording the band's first full-length album with Relay Recording's Jon Fintel. The two-sided album “Speak in the Vernacular” releasing in March of 2019 is a colorful and sweeping project that delivers a tune for every emotion, and places this group among the must-see emerging acts of Columbus in 2019.
