This is music for the people.
He’s a classically trained Shakespearean actor.
He’s a multi-instrumentalist.
He’s a grunge pop artist.
He’s probably baking cookies for his fans right now.
He’s got absolutely no idea what he’s doing.
He’s loving every minute of it.
Carli Naff & The Dark
Carli Naff is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter. Hailing from Arizona, Carli struggled as an actor in the city before discovering her place as a songwriter. She is known for her voice, which has been described as "a female Jeff Buckley" and for her emotional lyric-writing.
Rory D’Lasnow is a singer-songwriter from New Jersey. From the first time his father brought out his guitar to comfort Rory as a baby, it was clear that a lifelong relationship with music was being forged. Though he initially feared the sound of the instrument, Rory soon picked up his father’s right handed guitar upside down and backwards and began to craft original songs. Bred on equal parts Lennon and McCartney, The Everly Brothers, Billy Joel, and Queen, Rory honed his ability over talent competitions and showcases throughout his youth. Despite never turning the guitar right side up, Rory began to cultivate a sound that would propel him on to playing such well-respected venues as Kenny’s Castaways in New York City, Debonair Music Hall, and The Stanhope House - opening for American Idol winner, Lee DeWyze. In 2011, Rory released his first studio EP, “When All Is Fading”, a sincere and passionate debut that gracefully grapples with the universal themes of love and loss. He followed it up four years later with his second release, “Acoustic”, his most raw and evocative effort to date.
