Stanhope, NJ, 07874

Proud to be firmly installed in the new-funk movement, KUNG FU is quickly popularizing their unique sonic contribution, blurring the line between intense electro-fusion, and blistering dance arrangements. Making fusion music "cool" again, the band draws on influences such as early Headhunters and Weather Report, and merges those ideas with a contemporary EDM informed sensibility. Imagine 70's funk-fusion meets a modern dance party!
Although the ensemble cast enjoys a seasoned pedigree that reads like a late-night summer festival all-star jam, this fledgling "nu-sion" project is growing a unique and rabid following by commanding audiences at theaters, clubs, and major national festivals since 2012.
The powerhouse quintet's live show has been described by critics and fans alike as "lethal funk", "explosive", "jaw dropping", and "musically mesmerizing". For the uninitiated, the experience is typically shocking yet the focus is simple: just sit back and enjoy the ride!
Kung Fu Features:
Tim Palmieri (guitar & vocals)
Robert Somerville (tenor sax & vocals)
Beau Sasser (keyboards & vocals)
Chris DeAngelis (bass guitar & vocals)

Fish House Road
Fish House Road is that rare band that comes along every so often; a band that shatters the mold and defies definition. Their infectious blend of R&B, Funk, Jam, Rock, Reggae and Improvisational creates a soundscape that demands people get up and dance.
Formed in 2007, Mythology is a 3-piece Progressive Rock band from West Milford, NJ with a force and tenacity that is rarely seen in modern bands. Culling influences from the greatest artists of yesteryear, they certainly know how to turn heads with each performance. Elements of Jazz, Hard Rock, Blues, Heavy Metal, Classical, and Cinema all come together in a cohesive and digestible manner. Often compared with the likes of Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Yes, Mahavishnu Orchestra, and Rush, Mythology is able to satisfy listeners of all backgrounds with their unique brand of songwriting. Strict, daring Composition meets wide-open Improvisation in the Mythology world.
Funkadelic Astronaut is a New Jersey based Funktronica quartet. High school friends Ryan Gavin (Keyboards) and Kevin O’Neill (Drums) founded the group in 2013. Soon after, close friend Matt Mautone (Guitar) joined the band full time. For the next few years the band went through numerous lineup changes fluctuating between a 3 piece and a 5 piece. In the summer of 2015 Kevin Mckay became the band’s full time Bass playing solidifying the group as 4 piece. Finally in 2017, Sam Luba joined the band replacing Kevin McKay as the bass player.
The band is known for their heavy improvisational style: mixing compositions with extended jam sections, never playing a song the same way twice. Drawing on inspirations from classic funk bands and present day electronica, Funkadelic Astronaut blends the best of both worlds to provide a unique sound that they call “Funktronica”.
Listeners are taken on a journey through intricate, groovy, and tight compositions as well as organic, flowing, and high energy jams. One can’t help but to bust out their favorite dance moves and be launched into pure present bliss.
The band’s mission is to move bodies and open third eyes, wherever they go.
In 2017, Funkadelic Astronaut released their first EP as a full live band titled “Emergency Exit”.
