ABBARAMA is a group of young musicians from Sweden, UK and USA celebrating the music and style of ABBA.
The show is performed with a modern electronic sound produced by Grammy Award winning Greg Collins (U2, No Doubt) along with art and video projections by pop artist KII Arens (Lady Gaga, Katy Perry) creating the ultimate ABBARAMA EXPERIENCE!
The story of ABBARAMA started in 2017, when Josephine Forsman -the Grammy Nominated Swedish musician and drummer of the all female rock band Sahara Hotnights, and Nathan Arling the US musician and drummer of Urge Overkill, The Last Vegas and celebrity from the international EMMY Award winning Swedish TV-show “Allt För Sverige”, began dreaming about creating the ultimate ABBA show.
Pop Artist KII Arens soon joined in as the Art and Video Director, creating the fun and vibrant esthetics of ABBARAMA.
So did Diana Ebe, a Swedish pop singer living in Los Angeles, the UK singer Alison Garner, the Chicago artist Evan Hand, and the Swedish guitar player Adam Skeppar - they became the members of ABBARAMA.
Together with the band -Swedish guitar player Niklas Karlin, US drummer Dustin Koester, and US bass player Eric Louiselle, they all gathered in a big white mansion in the Hollywood Hills and started creating their own new sound around the classic Swedish ABBA songs.
”It was important for us to take the sound of ABBA into the new generation, adding a big electronic dance vibe to the already ultimate pop song along with visual art, fashion, and the style of ABBA” says Alison.
“We’re here to pay homage to ABBA while making it modern, color explosive, youthful and stylish” says Diana Ebe.
ABBARAMA is taking the show on the road and will be entertaining fans of all ages with the best and most unique ABBA experience in the world!
