Herb & Jellyfish
Herb & Jellyfish is a five-piece original rock band from Seattle, WA that employs ethereal sax riffs, dark sarcastic lyrics, complex harmonic guitar/bass lines, and edgy drums to create an unusual sound. In 2016 singer/songwriter Bradford King recruited Andreas Laursen (lead guitar), Robert Woods (rhythm guitar), Dan Montgomery (bass), and Jake Brooks (drums) to rebuild the rock band formerly known as Urban Jellyfish. Their sound is heavily influenced by the bands Bayside, Muse, and Morphine.
The new band lineup is recording five new songs with Jason Lackie of Fastback Studios and Ed Brooks of Resonant Mastering. Their first of five new singles will be released starting in May 2018.
The bands influences include Three 3, Coheed & Cambria, Morphine, Muse, Billy Talent, Bayside, Alkaline Trio, At The Drive In, Dear Hunter, Bullet For My Valentine, Tool, and Seattle locals Ten Miles Wide.
In May of 2017 Herb & Jellyfish released their first EP with Dan Montgomery on drums and Jacob Doss on bass.
