Haywyre DISCOVER/FORM TOUR 2019 with Jenaux, Balkan Bump

Haywyre consists of Martin Vogt, who has been studying piano since the age of six. His interest in the production of various genres of electronic music and piano instrumentals began growing when he lived in Austria; there, he was exposed to jazz and hip-hop for the first time. Shortly after moving back to the U.S. in 2008, Haywyre was created.

In April 2016, Jenaux released the independent record “Get It On,” which quickly found its way on Spotify’s US & Global Viral Top 50 charts. Get It On marks a sonic pivot for Jenaux who has also made his mark as a prolific remixer. Jenaux has produced remixes for artists including the Chainsmokers (Columbia/Disruptor Records), Rudimental (Atlantic/Big Beat Records), Lemaitre (Astralwerks/Capitol Records), Grizfolk (Virgin Records), Cher Lloyd (Epic Records), and many more.

As a live performer Jenaux has conquered many of North America’s most popular dance music & live music venues, including Pacha, Lavo, Marquee, Webster Hall, Create, Royale, Echostage, The Georgia Theater, The Fillmore, Irving Plaza, Avalon, Foundations Nightclub, & many many more. Jenaux will bring his incendiary live sets to the festival circuit in the Summer of 2016, with confirmed appearances at Camp Bisco, Lightening In A Bottle, and Baals festival among others.

Balkan Bump is the newest project from trumpet player, producer and ethnomusicologist Will Magid.
Balkan Bump launched to an unexpecting audience in late 2017 with his debut track “Aymo” alongside superstar collaborators Gramatik and Talib Kweli. Finding an affinity based in his own Balkan roots, Gramatik has championed the new project; debuting Balkan Bump’s first live performance at Gramatik’s anticipated NYE show at Terminal 5; taking Balkan Bump’s live show on the road for the Spring 2018 Re:Coil tour; and releasing Balkan Bump’s debut EP via his Lowtemp label imprint.
Musically, Balkan Bump is a fusion of live instruments, world influences and lush electronic production. His debut EP flaunts experience as an instrumentalist and arranger, fusing energetic Balkan brass with heavy electronic production and hip-hop/trap influences. This thrilling blend of live brass and electronic production carries over to Balkan Bump’s live show, as he joined Gramatik to unveil his horn-infused live set to a North American audience in Spring 2018. The rest of 2018 continued Balkan Bump’s touring success, with multiple festival appearances, two appearances at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and tour dates alongside CloZee, Beats Antique and Russ Liquid.
