Bel Heir

Bel Heir first gained the attention of fans and critics by releasing two singles a month, in a classic A-side/B-side format, for a full year in 2014. The band’s unique campaign led to immediate support from blogs such as NEON GOLD, HILLYDILLY, ALL THINGS GO, and more. This soon resulted in over a million Spotify streams on their single “Kiss The Devil.”

The buzzing success surrounding their releases quickly yielded tour dates with Sir Sly, Joywave, Highly Suspect, Neon Trees, The Chaingang of 1974, Cruisr, MagicMan and many others.

Later in 2014, Bel Heir signed a record deal with RCA Records. Following this, the band also signed a publishing deal with Los Angeles-based Pulse Music Group (home to Børns, Miike Snow, Wild Belle, Run the Jewels) and have had the opportunity to write with hitmakers including Justin Tranter (Fall Out Boy, Halsey), Tim Anderson (Banks, 21 Pilots),
Jesse Shatkin (Sia, Adele), Tim Pagnotta (Neon Trees, Weezer) and more.

Throughout the times writing on both coasts, Bel Heir rediscovered their rock roots in 2015, resulting in a rebranded sound with much more grit, ripping guitars and pounding drums. After writing more than 100 songs, the band released the "Washed Up” EP in 2017. The EP saw success on Spotify playlists such as New Music Friday, Totally Alternative, New Noise, and Soak Up the Sun. The band also had press looks from Clash Magazine, and 2 Hours w/ Matt Pinfield. The lead single Washed Up was spun on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation and several mix shows throughout the U.S.

Recent tracks from Bel Heir include Hush and Bad Intentions. These songs will all appear on the band’s upcoming EP, which was written and recorded at Hammerhead Studios and mixed by Jason Suwito of Sir Sly. When asked about what inspired the band to write Hush, they replied, “Hush is that moment when you decide to have a drink instead of face reality. At the time, our bizarre reality was that we worked for two years on a record for RCA and it didn’t come out.”

Bel Heir’s latest single—HEY—dropped earlier this month and was featured on Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday playlist. The track also made its way to radio on Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement. Stay tuned for upcoming tour dates.
