The Pierce Paradox

This is a 4 piece instrumental guitar driven hard rock/metal group from Denver Colorado formed in 2012 that features brother guitarists Shane Pierce and Michael David Pierce, who grew up with a father who's a classically trained guitarist.

Shane and Michael David Pierce grew up idolizing guitarists such as Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, and Eric Johnson and the influences are very prevalent throughout their debut albumn "Faces in the Clouds."

Shane and Michael David Pierce collaborated together to write these songs along with Neil Labadie (Drums) and Richard Barrett (Bass) to record and mix "Faces in the Clouds" themselves. Richard Barrett attended Audio Engineering school at Full Sail, and Michael David Pierce also received similar training at Career Education Center in Denver, CO. Shane and Michael David also both had lots of practice playing and recording the guitar while growing up as well on their home computers.

All of this contributed to The Pierce ParadoX's debut album, "Faces in the Clouds," which is very melodic in guitar instrumentation but also has many songs with the grit of 7 string and 8 string guitars and are influenced by some of today's newer up and coming styles.

Recently The Pierce Paradox made a change to their lineup by adding Ryan Ivis on drums. They have been playing shows and recently had the honor of opening for Angel Vivaldi in Denver, CO on November 6th, 2015. They are now promoting "Faces in the Clouds" and have already begun recording their next release which will hopefully be finished Spring 2016.
